Looks like it would be the perfect day to announce new AirPods and possibly even Apple's headphones. iPad Monday, Mac Tuesday, Music Wednesday. If not, then the week still has 2 more days. AirPods and AirPower on Thursday and Friday?
Apple site is working now. Used the education discount and wanted to trade in my current iPad via the trade in program.Check Best Buy... They are doing $25 off for My Best Buy Members (excludes Cellular models).
https://www.apple.com/ipad-mini/The Mini 5 is no longer on Apple's website!
Anyone know why?
Which no one said. It’s a rumor.False news.
There is nothing new
Which they don’t. So niche product. It's a niche product because Apple refused to update it with new features not the opposite. Every one said iPad mini was niche too but look at the excitement now after Apple gave it a basic specs update. If Apple took proper care of their product line these devices wouldn't be considered niche.
For data, iPad mini too big to carry around. Plus who makes phone calls any more? 5.5” screen iPod touch with LTE would be the killer device.
I'm just enjoying the karma of the fact that we finally seem to have reached the stage where no one calls it the iTouch any more. I can actually feel my blood pressure dropping as I type this.![]()

New products? Just same old things with Pathetic internal upgrades, which are not even worth spending your moneySomebody got drunk at Apple and started to release new products every day?!![]()
But where's the differentiation then between an LTE iPod Touch and an iPhone? Unless I'm overlooking something, I don't see any sense in Apple having two distinct product lines with the only difference being the ability to make voice calls, particularly as the components and cost would be pretty much the same. I think the iPhone already is the iPod Touch with mobile connectivity.
Duh, PRICE!! iPad mini LTE $529, so iPod Touch LTE would have to be even less. Hence MUCH MUCH less than equivalent iPhone. But where's the differentiation then between an LTE iPod Touch and an iPhone? What people dont want a phone but an iPod with display these days? Not necessarily. Cellular could work on an ipod touch. If Apple basically treats it like an ipad nano with data only plans like an ipad. I think that would be pretty cool. Wouldn’t eat into iphone sales, yet would definitely sell to people who don’t want a phone.
