Wonder what that battery on that little SE with 5G is going to look like. If the battery barely keeps its nose above water when brand new, I fear how it will do a year or two into ownership.

An event for that? Lol. Just update the website and make it available to buy.

Unless my memory has gone to heck, and I'm not discounting that, I'm pretty sure this is how things went in 2020 for the SE2's reveal.

I had an SE2 but did not like the battery life.

I now have an iPhone 11 and really like the battery life. My opinion on the notch hasn't changed (bad design) and I much prefer TouchID and a 16:9 screen.

If GSMArena's battery life tests show promise I might very well unload the 11 for the SE3. I'd consider the Verge's review as well for a purchasing decision... if I was an idiot. Yes, I editorialized a bit at the end there.

iOS 15.4 may be tied to the March event and the new devices, so we can expect to see the update launch in the first half of March.
Unlikely. Last Year iOS 14.5 beta started Feb 1st and first RC was April 20th, 2021, went public April 26th. Same time this years betas including iOS/iPadOS 15.4 are first to encompass Universal Control along with MacOS 12.3 beta cycle.

Woo hoo! The 🐐 Mark Gurman finally decided to give us an actual date.

I mean it makes sense since we received a report about iPad Air and iPhone SE going into production. Almost a month in a half away. This is going to be a great year for us. Let's get it.
That date doesn't gel wth the current beta cycle just started encompassing Universal Control.

People always forget that services represent over 20% of Apple revenue.
Those services are tied to Apple hardware:

Services revenue like iCloud storage, Apple Music, Arcade, Apple TV, etc. only make sense if you use these combined with Apple hardware.

Tim Cook just announced last week Apple has 1.8 billion active devices worldwide.

That's right, it's a lot of Apple hardware.

Where is the Mini LED 11-inch iPad Pro? Been holding off on grabbing one until this update happens. Thought it was supposed to happen Spring 2022?
There have been no real rumors pointing to a Spring 2022 launch for the iPad Pro. It looks like a Fall release with M2 processor.
