New Mac Mini Finally Coming in October Alongside New iPads?

I hope Apple focuses almost exclusively on making it thinner.

Because that is all we consumers care about. Right, Apple?
 
If it happens, it'll be an "Oh by the way, we kicked up the specs a bit." that will not really be worth mentioning. A bigger update won't be at the same time as an iPad as they don't want anything distracting from that announcement.

I've also heard word that the iPhone 6 will be updated next year.:D

I always wonder where these rumours come from. Will be nice to see the Mac Mini's updated regardless.
 
You could put a Hamster inside if you just give me the Mac mini in the Gold color!

Ok a bit of hyperbole but i'd take a mini with Haswell.

Woo hoo! I've been chewing on the idea of a mac mini for a long while now. I can only cross my fingers and hope that it's not just a simple update, but a bit of an evolutionary update.
 
If the Yosemite rollout goes like ios8 I don't want any more Apple products. About to throw this Ipad in the toilet.
 
Take my money please. I betcha it won't bend in my pocket. Seriously, I am ready to pull the trigger as soon as it's available.

yeh, that was my first reaction too. I've been waiting for a new mini for quite a while but this rumor is so vague I find it hard to credit. and the timing seems quite odd as the article says given the Broadwell situation. "MacRumors has now received word" doesn't inspire a lot of confidence.

Yaaay!

About time, My 8 year old HP died a couple months ago and have been waiting to buy a Mac Mini to replace it!
 
ive never seen the apple refurb this packed like it is today. i feel like every computer and configuration made from apple since 2012 is on there rite now

This is really no different than the iPad Mini and iWatch rumors. I'm definitely looking forward to a Mac Mini refresh.
 
I do think the Mini will go the route of the MBP and MBA, all soldered components and SSD.
