It's pretty easy to pinch the top of the phone and pull it out with this sleeve. Or you can squeeze it out from pinching the bottom of the sleeve. In my opinion a sleeve has its place. I use it casually on weekends or when I'm out about and know that I'm not going to have it in my pocket for hours on end like a night out. Otherwise I use a normal case like the genuine apple leather one. And I always have a fairly decent screen protector on my phone, lately it's a Moshi iVisor Glass.
So in short, I love a sleeve but only in the right environment.
