Never seen anything from crumpler like that, seen the zagg little felt layer thing. Problem is on this laptop there's not any gap and the keys don't have enough travel to allow such a layer of felt between the keys and the screen without causing damage. Even if you find or make something, I think you'll be damaging your keys or screen with prolonged use. This is a different way they both sit when closed than previous MBA\MBP
This is from the European Crumpler, which is a different company than Crumpler in the rest of the world, they broke up a couple of years ago. The bags from the non-european Crumpler are a lot nicer
Since Apple put in a very thin piece of paper-like material a very thin piece of micro fiber must be an option
He, he, I have one of these. I saw it yesterday rummaging around. I didn't think it would fit. It's a little long. (mine doesn't have the whitish stitching though)
Gotta love these Aussie outfits.
The only complaint I have about this case is that when these bags arrive, they have a slight impression of the envelope top imbedded in the lower leather – so when you open it up, you can see an impression of the top imbedded in the leather. This is the second one I have gotten and it is the same as the first one. Some are more pronounced than others. I guess it is due to the softness of the leather. Minor criticism – still a beautifil bag that fits the 12" rMB nicely.
I used the toffee sleeve for the last 5 years on my MBAs and initially on my rMB. It doesn't fit perfectly as the 11' MBA is wider than the rMB. It is of course the same issue every 11' MBA case has for the rMB.
Got myself a Joli Smooth Sleeve which fits perfectly. Not to mention the personal touch with a card and personal note on the wrapping paper. Brown/Aqua looks gorgeous with the gold rMB.
Well, it's got a tiny amount of room on either side. It still fits snuggly, even with the small amount of room on either side.
Right, tried the Toffee 11", and it doesn't fit right. the zipper makes contact (not good).
A lot of my other 11" sleeves do fit, but the Toffee is normally a tight fit for the 11.
BTW, that sleeve looks nice
Ya, I got the non-zipper "envelope-style" bag. It is a snug fit with a touch of room on either side.

I'd note that Apple specifically advises against putting anything inside the lid of all their notebooks.
Sigh, when will Incase ever make accessories for the new 12" rMB! It's been almost 2 months already and still no news. I love Incase for its quality, simplicity and looks. I've always used them in the past for my MacBooks. I can't find any other nice shoulder/messenger bag like the ones they make. Something, modern and simple looking. I don't really want a sleeve or pouch. I prefer a bag. So I can put other stuff in and take with me on the go.

I had the same problem with him 3 years ago. He did finally send the wrong thing. Gave me a refund and let me keep it. I sold it off for my trouble.
Got an email from them saying these are shipping out tomorrow (1 day ahead of estimate). Cant wait to get it.
Seems like they have them now for the 12" specifically. Zipper and envelope. About a hundred US$, after everything (not sure exactly)
Whelp the Picasso Labs guy came through and I got my Black Leather case today. Guess I'm happy he messed up as I got it for free. Good quality case but I think Im going to probably end up using the SFBAGS case.
