New Macbook Case Thread

All of me scottevest gear can too. Any of their medium sized items with an iPad pocket can hold an 11 inch MBA, and now 12 inch rMB. But it's obvious you have this big item in there and looks a little odd. Cool party trick though (for about two minutes). Plus sitting down can feel awkward with a large metal plank digging into your armpit. I had the same issue when I use to lug around an iPad 3. iPad mini is much more comfortable.

Are these the jackets aimed at travellers going on low cost airlines so that hand luggage can remain as light as possible?

That's really nice and would be good if I were using my rMB for work, going to meetings etc but adds too much bulk for me otherwise.
 
My Picasolab case arrived. I went for black with red interior.

This is the best quality case I have ever owned. The leather is so thick and the stitching is amazing. I'm delighted with it.

I ordered 27th May, it arrived in the UK 4th June. Amazing turnaround time and delivery time from the states. Ive seen some bad reviews on here for Picasolab but it's an amazing quality case and was delivered very fast.

Now I just need my MacBook to go with it :D

Looks nice inside. Maybe your case will bring you luck......I received my Joli case last Friday afternoon and that evening got a shipping notification for my MacBook!

Wouldn't mind seeing a close up bit of your name - even just a bit of it (if you want to remain incognito!) as I'd like to see how that looks. The images on the picasolab look a bit odd - like they have photoshopped the name on............

Pictures attached. It's very subtle. Almost can't see it in some lights.

Bought it and returned it. Moshi folks are idiots. That said, the model made for the Macbook 12" was too big (i.e. made for macbook air 11). When the unit was in the case it was all wrinkled. Finally, the new design for the 12 does not look like your picture.

Well you're one of the few that got good service and a fast turn around. In fact, that seems impossible to believe based upon all those complaining that its been weeks.

I wanted that inside texturing on the outside. I don't like the thick figuring.

LOL, these jackets are super popular in China. When you go to the airport and are going to board a flight that's domestic (within China), the gate agent comes around with a hand scale. All the Chinese start pulling things out of their hand-carry bags and shoving them into their jackets to get their bag under the 7kg weight limit before the gate agent brings the hand-scale to check their bag. LOL

Which is exactly why I wanted to post on here. Maybe a few people had a bad experience. I had an amazing experience. Great quality and fast shipping. That's all people really want.

I actually ordered my case and then read all the bad reviews and started to worry. But it turned up so fast. Would highly recommend this company to anyone.

I think you're very lucky, a lot of people complaining that they ordered it in April and still haven't gotten it. And the ones who received it received the wrong colours or sleeves that where made for the 11".

Maybe not the entirely right thread but, I've gotten quite some keyboard marks on my screen so I'm looking for something to cover the keyboard. A couple of years ago I've used the slip from Crumpler for that, but they don't have a 12" version yet. Has anyone seen something nice?
