I actually really like the look and functionality of that sleeve. Have you contacted Snugg to see if they would consider constructing a version of it for the 12"? I would consider that as well, and could contact them.

No, I have not really done anything since looking at the amazon posting and reviews for it. I'm just really stuck between waiting for a case that meets all of my needs or to buy one now that ends up being a compromise.

If you need a bag, this one looks to be pretty good quality. I just ordered the vertical brown.

I too just ordered this one. Great price and availability. I can carry my iPad Air 2 as well. Sweet bag.

Has anyone tried the 11" Booq Viper with their rMB, to confirm whether Booq's claim that it will fit perfectly is true? (It's my favorite case, but the rNB is a little deeper, and that case is already very snug on my 11" MBA, so I'm a little skeptical!)

I have the one with the red interior lining. It fits my 12" Macbook fine. The other side also accommodates my iPad2 (with Apple leather case), though I don't know why I'd carry both. It does get little heavy doing a double device carry. Maybe while traveling and stored in my backpack?

I'm not sure what a new 12" Macbook Viper would do over the 11" inch version should they decide to produce one.

I can post a pic this weekend.

That's great to hear, thank you so much!

Were you inquiring about the Viper Hard case or the sleeve? Because I believe that scottomfg has one coming. I hope to hear from him how the 12 fits in the sleeve for the 11.

Sorry, I meant the Viper hard case. I have one for my MBA 11"... so I'll also be able to report on fit, on Tuesday when my rMB BTO arrives. :)

I got one of the new MintCases

Finally ordered this case from amazon. I really would have spent more on leahter if there was one that fit tightly and had a pocket for my phone(s) and/or charger, but that apparently doesn't exist.

Multiple reviews stated that this fit their new 12" Macbook perfectly, and it's pockets will for sure be big enough to accommodate my phones. I'll also be able to keep the Macbook inside this case while charging it, by just leaving a small hole open with the zippers.

I was against a zipper at first as I was worried about the inside part scratching the MacBook but it appears this one from the pictures won't have that problem.

It should hopefully be here by Tuesday, I'll try to post some pics and thoughts once I receive it. Quite disappointed though that there is not leather case/sleeve that hugs the MacBook with no wiggle room, with a storage pocket, magnetic flap, and an opening for a charging port. Seems a lot of companies are just re-selling 11" air sleeves and marketing them as new for the 12" MacBook. That's retarded IMO.

This is mine; it's very simple but should hopefully do the job nicely.

I have this coming tomorrow. I will post some pics.

random question: Do most people put their macs in with the back towards the bottom or top? I usually put them with the back of the mac at the bottom of the sleeve, but all of these screen shots they are with the back facing out.

I also have this bag for my MacBook Pro, great purchase. Very high quality and durable.

Did you get your Toffee sleeve? How was the fit?

Ordered Toffee Envelope sleeve from Amazon. Doesn't specify an exact fit for The new MacBook but a reviewer stated it fit his perfectly. Genuine leather is an added bonus.

On a side note, don't forget ColcaSac sleeves. I had a couple a few years back and really liked them.
