I ordered mine on 15/10. It has shipped on 22/10. Now it's available for final delivery to customer. Should get it on Monday. CAN'T WAIT!.

BTW if you guys want more detailed info about the shipment, track it via UPS (as some of you did).

Mine shipped yesterday and I've got a UPS tracking number which suggests delivery on Monday (!) which I don't believe for a minute. This was for a MBP (2.8ghz/250GB/7200) only. The latest UPS status shows:

APELDOORN,
NL 10/25/2008 3:44 P.M. PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE

I'd be very surprised if all of us that shipped yesterday (to Europe/UK) didn't go in the same shipment. Maybe their system just isn't capable of showing all of the info for split shipments. I hope all of yours are in the same. :)

Nah you're right.......from my experience, you wont get it on monday. I reckon by wednesday.

mine was shipped on 22nd. The entry of the tracking actually occured on same day. from my understanding, this is just the paperwork that gets processeed in Netherlands ahead of the package arrival.

I would have received mine today but UPS do not deliver on weekends, so monday it is for me

I've just had an e-mail from Apple saying my delivery has been shipped on 26th Oct! Very strange!

Also, I can "Track this shipment" for the printer and ipod but not the MBP. The printer and ipod are estimated to be delivered 31st Oct - which is diff to what the email says (total order delivered 4th Nov.)

They don't have make this complicated.

I think they quote dates in the local time where the event occurs - so in this case probably Shanghai where it is already 26th.

I just had an update if of any interest to those that shipped yesterday. The delivery status widget said it just arrived in Germany, but when I went to check UPS it says:

Which has no mention of Germany?!

Very true. At what stage did you get the UPS tracking number?

My tracking number came up yesterday - 24th. All very odd - one of the tracking sites does now show it in Koeln, Germany... so at least I didn't imagine it. I think the UPS updates are just a bit misleading.

Its been nearly two days since it shipped and still no tracking number for UPS. How long does it normally take? getting nervous now :)

Woooooo

My MBP pro has been shipped along with my ipod Nano. Oh Yes. Even Better the ETA for the Delivery was 6-7th of November, Now it is the 1st. Oh Yes. Ordered it on the 17th, So thats a rough total of two weeks wait, not too bad.

JUst in time for CS4 that arrives on the 31st of October. Man the guys at college are going to be so jealous :D

Quite a long time. Mine's been 4 days and still no tracking number, although briefly did say what company they were sending it with. Don't worry!

Dont worry about it. mine is with yours. I'm fairly confident UPS will deliver it on monday

Mine hasn't been shipped yet :( but I did only order it on Thursday :D
Can you guy's tell me how long it's taken on average to be shipped? I ordered the stock 2.53 but with the 7200rpm HDD.

Mine took 8 days to ship. Might not be as long a wait now though.

Mine took 8 (normal) days - 2.4 CTO. Although, the MBP doesn't have the "Track this shipment" button next to it like the printer and ipod do.

Am regretting my choice of printer now though... wish I'd gone for the Cannon 610 instead of the 310.

Apples ordering system is screwing with me... for the past 2 days expected shipping was the 1st of november, today it switched to the 31st of october, now back to the 1st of november. And my carrier tracking information isn't there, I tried using the order reference which seems to be a TNT reference on TNTs tracking, but it just gave me the info to a package that was delivered to someone else several months ago.

Damnit Apple, hurry up already!

Well mine just gets more confusing. Having shown Netherlands and then Germany yesterday, UPS now shows:

So these shipments travel China > Netherlands > Germany > Korea??? Or do you think the European entries were just misleading and it's not actually travelled that far?

That's right, they are misleading. What happens is that the package data is sent electronically to each of the destinations ahead of the physical package so that it can be processed ahead of time to ensure a smoother delivery. This results in tracking data that appears to show your delivery bouncing back and forth from one country to another when in fact it isn't really doing anything of the sort.

Looking at your tracking data, it appears that your parcel has actually only travelled as far as Korea (from Shanghai) so far.

Thanks - I figured that was the case. I'm still confused by Germany showing up yesterday and now not appearing anywhere, but it makes sense that it has now left Korea and should hit Poland (?) next if I'm right. In any case it should be here sometime mid-week...

Twynne, looks like my new MBP is in exactly the same place as yours is:

ok lets play the game "where is my MBP"

Apple tracking says its ready to be delivered at my adresse (apparently its allready in Denmark)

UPS: 24th it left Koeln and went to Apeldorn and then back to Koeln in the morning of the 25´th. It have then stayed there at least untill the middle of Sunday since theres no new records there and it stillsays on time for delivery in Denmark on the 27th

this is the second day i take off from work for this since UPS in Denmark wont let you pick up the package and if your not home they will ship it back to Apple (been there with other UPS deliveries) im tired of UPS i want Fedex or TNT at least they are helpful on the phone and will find a solution

Would it be worth having a word with Apple and seeing if there's anything they can do to help you out?

Most companies (here in the UK) offer some sort of help or (worst case) compensation if you've had to take days off work for deliveries that don't turn up. However, given that Apple's delivery info always says "estimated" I'm not sure how helpful they'll be - but you don't know if you don't ask (assuming you have asked already :))

Apple in Denmark just tell me that if it shows up within the next week, they are happy and wont help at all.
