Apple in Denmark just tell me that if it shows up within the next week, they are happy and wont help at all.

Wow! That's insanely unhelpful - not what I would have expected from Apple.

I've only had one delivery from UPS and I wasn't in for it so they left it with my neighbour, which was fine for me, even though I hadn't asked them to do it. Could they not do that for you?

After that I'm not sure what to suggest really, I'm still shocked at Apple's response.

mine is on the same plane as yours, and apparently it's on its way to Germany, so im guessing yours is too!

I don't (yet) have the last update (Germany), but guessing it takes a bit for them to get through each shipment and for the updates to appear. I should think we'll all get them by Weds latest - maybe even Tuesday!

Unfortunally not, only Apple can authorize something like that since UPS runs by different rules in Denmark, and Apple employees arent informed of this, so they tell that you have to contact UPS yourself no matterwhat you tell them, it was the same last time i ordered from Apple and they used UPS, but the time they used Fedex or TNT i didnt have any problems at all

My estimated delivery is 4th/5th Nov although the Apple site says 31st Oct - since placing the order I've made a few unexpected purchases with the same card and I'm not sure if I'll have enough limit left for the payment to go through (have made an online payment but they take about 4 days!)

I was hoping I would get it Monday, but I guess not now. Expected delivery is Wednesday or Thursday.

For anyone who's interested, I ordered my MBP (2.53GHz with 7200rpm 250GB drive, plus a red iPod nano) very late last Sunday night, and I've just discovered that it's now 'prepared for shipment'.

For the benefit of anyone following this thread and still waiting for their MBP, I'll try and continue to report on its progress, so to begin:

Date/time ordered: 20th of Oct. at 02:14 (BST)
Original shipping estimate: 7 business days
Original delivery estimate: 6th to 7th of Nov.
Date prepared for shipment: 26th of Oct.

My mbp shipped yesterday evening but as I ordered a printer too I only get a track this product button next to the printer and not the mbp. Will apple give me a tracking number for the mbp if I ring them and on average how long are they taking to get to the UK? I'm in Cardiff. Should it come this week?

I'm getting quite annoyed now - i've noticed that quite a few people's MBPs have shipped (or prepared to) who ordered last Fri/Sat/Sun. I ordered last Saturday morning and mine still hasn't shipped! I've been without a computer for a week now. Oh well...

Yeah I ordered mine Sat 18th, it went to prepared to ship on Friday 24th and shipped Saturday 25th. Mine was a 2.8 with 320 gig 7200 model.

I think it may be because I got a stock base model which may be the most popular one. What's your delivery estimate? I'd really like to get it by next weekend as I wont get much chance to enjoy it during the week.

Mine is still stuck in Koeln and with my inside acces to flightplan (aka asking another aircraft tech at work that handles UPS) i know they have a flight a bit past midnight to Malmo, and the they have to drive to denmark and sort it and then deliver it, i doubt it will be here tomorrow

Yeah sounds like that could be reason for your delay. Estimated delivery is still 06 Nov - 07 Nov, though estimated delivery date for the printer when I click the track this shipment button is 01 Nov. I can't track mbp. Doesn't really make much sense as the printer is going to be merged in transit with the mbp so both should be arriving then. I've still no info on carrier yet. Just says it will be updated soon.

From trawling through this thread it looks like the average delivery time is 3 - 5 days so I'm slightly optimistic I'll get it Wednesday or Thursday this week.
Be interested to hear from anyone who had their mbp ship on Saturday around 7:30pm and has tracking details with UPS or other?

Well like many others on here I apparently left Korea at 9:44am and no update since. I'm guessing it will now go Poland > Germany > Netherlands > UK. Wish someone would give the donkey that's bringing it a small push.

Mine's the same - guess we're on the same plane (or boat!)

Does anybody know where the printers and iPod Nanos are being shipped from? Maybe they're all gonna merge in NL or UK from elsewhere?

mine is with yours in Germany. Really dont think its anything to worry about. I think they'll just fly it over to UK in early hours of the morning then deliver it to us sometime in the day. I think all the paperwork has already been done in Apeldoorn, so it should be smooth sailing from here on in.

Thats what I think anyway. If nothing has changed in status by morning then you could always call UPS.
