New MacBook Pro UK Shipping Times

I have had no tracking info at all up due to having more than one item in my order. At the end of the day they said that it would be delivered by the 4th Nov and that is still looking like the case. It would be nice to have tracking but it won't make it come any faster. But it would be nice to have a concrete day by now especially for those that have to stay in to receive it.

I wholeheartedly agree. Work will not be pleased on this side of the tracks either
 
So I've finally got a tracking number and it says that it is being sent via TNT but when I put the tracking number into TNT's tracking site I get details of some random delivery months ago that has nothing to do with me!

Anyone else had this?
 
Nope. Nothing - So annoyed. It means it will now come on Monday (hopefully) and I will not be able to come and pick it up until Thursady!
 
Just had a chat with a very helpful woman at TNT. Turns out that I was tracking it via their UK website and should have been using their International site.

It'll be here tomorrow!

I now have a TNT tracking number too! My MacBook Pro is in Northampton just now, so a long way to Aberdeen if its going to be delivered tomorrow, but at least I can finally track it.

Mine was sent on the 24th, and is a multi-package. I don't have tracking today, and I'm expecting I won't get tracking until tomorrow. I think it won't arrive until Monday. My current status is 'Preparing handover to final carrier', and it was updated today.

Mine is MBP + Nano. Shipped on 24th, is currently in Northampton and the TNT woman said it will definitely be with me in London tomorrow.

Mine has a printer as well but shipped the 24th.

There is a delay in updating tacking numbers I gather so still maybe some hope there.......:(

looks like ours MBP's and Nanos will be on the same lorry :D
I just cannot wait to get mine.. ill be in all day waiting for it...

I've got a tracking number too, woooo! I also got an email from Apple about two hours ago telling me that my extended Applecare has been activated and will expire on the 23rd October 2011. I know I'll only have lost 8 days of cover but it does feel a bit like adding insult to injury after this painful wait with a three day penalty for spending more money.

Identical! We must of ordered at the same time. Well, on behalf of my MBP, pleasure travelling with you! ;)
 
mine now has UK DISTRIBUTION CENTRE under carrier but the tracking is just the 8080 number that has always been my reference number. Do you others have proper tracking numbers and a known carrier?
 
Ooh, I'm really liking actually having some tracking information!

Mine was at Nuneaton at 21:16:00 and arrived at the Northampton Hub at 22:53. I wonder where it'll stop off next, or maybe it'll just come straight to London.

Ah well, I'm going to get myself an early night now and get up nice and early. I had to jump out of the shower and run down two flights of stairs sopping wet today in a dressing gown to sign for a package, I don't want to risk doing that again tomorrow!!

I've had an e-mail earlier this evening saying my apple care expires 25/10/11 - they didn't even ship the MBP until 26/10! Me thinks I'll be asking them about that tomorrow.

Just driven up to Leics from London and I did pass at least one TNT lorry on the way, if that helps! lol! (passed a LOT of lorries but theirs stood out for some reason ;))
