mine shipped on 30th too but it is currently sitting in Koln, Germany, to go where next is the question?! Stated the 5th now from 3rd yesterday. What's afoot at all? Only person here I think waiting in Ireland
 
Following on from my previous post and for anyone in the same boat as me, I've just spoken to TNT who checked my consignment and said it definitely won't arrive tomorrow as it is yet to be scanned into their system. When it is it'll say TNT in the carrier section.

She also confirmed that they don't deliver from Apple on Saturdays but that I should receive the delivery on Monday.

At least we're getting somewhere.

Mine was at Nuneaton at 21:16:00 and arrived at the Northampton Hub at 22:53. I wonder where it'll stop off next, or maybe it'll just come straight to London.

Ah well, I'm going to get myself an early night now and get up nice and early. I had to jump out of the shower and run down two flights of stairs sopping wet today in a dressing gown to sign for a package, I don't want to risk doing that again tomorrow!!

Damnn your 2 mins ahead of me into the Northampton Hub. Safe to say we were on the same truck.

most likely that your package is due tomorrow

From what I understood of my conversation with Apple today it means that it will reach the UK depot on 31st and then be sent out to the final courier for delivery by 4th Nov.

I still dont have a tracking number

It was shipped on the 26th.

Can anyone tell me when I should get it? Im going to presume Monday as I still dont have a tracking number but it does say it will arrive on the 31st (GMT)
 
My status changed yesterday to “In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule” from “In Transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly”. What’s the next stage and how long does it usually take? And what’s the difference between these stages?

Mine's now saying:

31 Oct 2008 06:51:56 London City Shipment Received At Destination Depot.
31 Oct 2008 06:48:14 London City Shipment Held In Warehouse. Follow Up Actions Underway.
31 Oct 2008 06:00:46 London City Shipment Received At Destination Depot.
30 Oct 2008 22:53:23 Northampton Hub Shipment In Transit.
30 Oct 2008 21:16:00 Nuneaton Shipment In Transit.

Bit odd, no "out for delivery". :confused:

Edit: Just spoke to TNT and I'll be receiving my delivery at some time between 8am and 6pm today. Hmmmm.... guess I'll be staying in my dressing gown for the foreseeable future.

I've had the same email and frankly that's ********. I will definitely be making a complaint about losing time on the AppleCare!!

And to top it all off I still haven't got a tracking number!!

Just says In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule

Yeah I think I'm going to make a substantial complaint too, if for nothing else but to vent!
 
TNT can not locate one of my packages!

Yah same with mine, I didn't get a tracking number last night even though it was listed as prepared for handover to final carrier, and I just got the In Transit to Customer thing in the last hour or two. This is really irritating, we should all be tossing nasty emails to them after this whole situation!

Now its really looking like I won't get it till monday, seeing the amount of tracking numbers that went out last night.... but, still holding on and waiting.
 
Ugh, my TNT status now says 'Please Call' which I've done and they didn't know what it was about. Waiting for a call back, hope they haven't lost it!

Yep. The lady at TNT was really nice. Said 2 packages are out for delivery. One package can't be located, but should be very soon. If it is nearby, they will send it today. If not, they will get it to me tomorrow by upgrading my delivery to Saturday. Let's hope it is close by!

Congrats to all you folks set to get yours today! Those that switched to In Transit to Customer last night, I just called Apple up and they said we "definitely" won't be getting it today, and that we could expect it monday or tuesday at the best.

sorry to be the barer of bad news, but thats just the way it seems it is. :confused: :mad:

Same situation as me moclippa, I guessed as much that I wouldn't be getting it today. A bit disappointed to say the least.

Fingers crossed. It would be worrying if they can locate 2 very small packages and some how loose a reasonable sized one!

Something tells me the 3rd package could be the one that arrived at the destination depot after it went out for delivery?
