yeah - gosh people who just ordered them are getting them shipped almost straight away now - and i'm still waiting for my order to come (hopefully tuesday) when i placed my order on the 16th!
i'm not impressed lol apple owes me a lot of time (from forum checking/shipping status checking... calling them.. i dont even have a reference number!)
but when it comes, i'm going to be pretty glad
Got my TNT tracking number last night, and it made its way to Bradford in the middle of the night. It's now out for delivery, which confuses me in 2 ways. 1) I didn't think they did Saturday delivery from Apple, and 2) Bradford is about 10-20 miles further away from me than the Leeds depot, which is less than 5 miles away.
Well rang TNT on the off chance they had any info on my order and got through to a helpful lady. My status changed last night to "Preparing handover to final carrier" but I don't have carrier info showing yet. They said it is very unlikely I will have it on Monday. It would have needed to be picked up last night or this morning at the latest to have a chance of a Monday arrival date. So looks like pickup Monday, arrive on Tuesday.
I'm at the same stage as you. I'm only in Monday and Wednesday morning this week.
If it arrives Tuesday it will go back to the depot and redelivery won't be available until Thursday. Been waiting 2 and a half weeks as it is.been stuck on east midlands airport departure scan fo the last 8 hours. nothing happening here. need an update to relieve the angst. initially, the package was missorted at koln and hasd to be rerouted. jees, these cats at UPS make you wait! anyone else recieve this error???
Oh man I was really hoping for a Monday delivery... looks like I'm defo going to move down tomorrow and ask them to deliver it to London instead - prob won't get it by Weds in that case.
Mine is due Tuesday, shouldn't I have at least had a change in my status from the all too familiar in transit to customer one?!

- Called TNT to collect
- Went to collect....and....
It was just the bloody iPod and AppleCare envelope. **** me sideways
hmm...i thought they usually do a merge before delivery. that's why apparently people with extra things + mac are a bit behind.
most certainly. It's quite possible that yours is in britain anyways, seeing as we ordered around the same time. I do hope there is a change status in tracking but then again, i wonder how many times i've said just that. Let's look to monday for movement at the latest

good things come to those who wait i guess... although some of these reports of people sending the back just worries me a bit...

I'd have a word with Apple about that one, something very wrong there.
I think if it's due Tuesday you're looking for it to change to "Preparing handover to final carrier" on/by Sunday and then for a change on Monday to reflect that it is en route to you.
Having said the above, I'm now thinking/hoping that TNT will pick it up on Sunday (possibly evening) as I think that was what one of the Apple reps told me (though I could be imagining things at this stage! lol!)
TNT have been given all 4 packages but only 2 made it to my local depot today
But surely if they tried to deliver those two packages to you today, and we're supposed to get all our packages at the same time - that's why we are waiting longer than those who ordered just the MB/Ps - somebody somewhere made a bit of a screw-up?
Don't get me wrong I'm not trying to wind you up - just don't understand how Apple work, none of this whole process makes sense to me.
When was yours shipped - was it very late on the 27th? If so your order exactly matches mine in every way, and is, I presume, therefore the same as Dom.S too (as his was shipped on the 20th).
Mine's still stuck on 'In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule' with an estimated delivery of Monday. By the sound of it that can't be right as it should have changed by now, so I'm guessing Tues/Weds at best.
From reading what others have said in this thread, that estimated delivery date refers to the date Apple expect to receive the laptop at their distribution centre, not the date you get the laptop. If you look at the dispatch notification e-mail Apple will have sent you, I expect you'll see it estimates an arrival date of the 5th (that's what mine said); that's now when I think we'll get our laptops, as it seems to take Apple a day to merge everything, then TNT a day to transport the stuff to us.
My MB Pro is being sent via UPS. It's currently in Apeldroon in the Nether Lands. But the latest update on the tracker states - Your package has experienced an exception. And apparently this could delay the delivery date!! Anyone know what this actually means? Is my new laptop brocken or destroyed?
I just wen on to see if there was any updates on my MBP tracking page and I was welcomed by this

Sadly, mine hasn't changed either, still in transit to customer so not broken here.... my old mac sells on ebay in 8 hours! wahhh, bad timing on my part!
