New MacBook Pro UK Shipping Times

If you ordered it with ipod or printer, 14th sounds about right, but you might get a few days earlier.

nearly 24 hours with the pro and it is the sex....! pain in the arse when you go back to a windows keyboard though :confused:
 
Well it’s arrived, order on the 30th dispatched on the 3th, arrived on the 6th. So total time taken 7 days.

I ordered 2.53Ghz with 250Gb Hard Drive and VGA adaptor.

Ordered 30th October, go it today

It's my first Mac and I could not be happier. No Scratches, screen issues, battery cover issues ( although I haven't removed it yet ) Perfect !

Just need to install a few applications and put all my stuff on it

3 weeks later, no MBP

Hi everyone,

nice thread!

Having ordered mine on 17/10/2008 it is still being 'prepared for shipping' which probably means another week, 4 in total - if I'm lucky.

Don't quite get it as I ordered 2.53/250 GB, so slightly custom, but someone earlier in the thread had ordered the same spec on 30/10/2008 and got it today (06/10/2008)! Do they have mine I wonder ;)

This wait time is increased a further 2 weeks because Apple cancelled my original order of the previous version of the mac!

Not great first experience with Apple, but as I'm beginning to realise it's worth the wait, even if it' 6 weeks?

It will ship in approxiamtly 24hrs
Did you get an iPod and or a printer with it ?
If yes it will take another 8 normal days to come, if not just 3.

Mine not as bad but still, ordered on the 25 due on the 14th, so we will probably get ours around the same time :)

My order has just chnaged from "order dispatched" to "Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 10 Nov 2008"
Does that mean that it will come to me on the 10th or just that apple will recieve it in theire center on the 10th to be merged and then sent to me( I ordered a ipod and printer with it)?

Yes ordered same date and got same delivery estimate.

Ordered 2.8 with 320/7200 and a travel lead which I think means it is getting consolidated in the UK rather than shipping direct

Ordered mine on the 28th same spec still nothing hasnt shipped yet. Ordered a mighty mouse and iphone 3g dock too. It's taking too long.

Ok, well got it all figured out:
Our orders will arrive at the UK depot on the 10th (thats for shure) and get merged, so either were lucky and it gets sent from there on the 10th then we get our order on the 11th ( or maybe 12th because I live in edinburgh, i dont know where you live )
Otherwise apple hands it over on the 11th and we get it on the 12th or 13th at the latest ( and the 13th, thats for shure! )

Ordered mine today - had an email later saying it's been shipped :)

Surpised they don't have stocks here rather than get each one in from abroad!

Ah that old trick - citylink use it all the time! Did they say they left a card too? The Liars!!

They know people who want their gear will drive down to them and save them a tonne on petrol, hence they pull this one often... I no longer deal with companies who use citylink, twice they've tried it on me - I'm certain they didn't attempt delivery as we have cctv here :D

Mine finally says prepared for shipment about bloody time wohoo. Estimated delivery 12th of nov to the 20th. Might still be another few days yet.

Just been shipped excellent its finally coming after all this time. Estimated arrival the 16th of nov which is due to change according to apple. Now just the painful part, parting with the cash ouch.
