Holy crap. What lousy insight.

Why don't you just get a Dell?

Just what i was thinking!
the design is fine, would it be nice to have an option or new something sure, but they rode the old design forever, in fact I miss mine it stood out amongst the sea of UMBP when not a soul I knew had a mac .

I think you likely know the answer to this one too. I hope for USB 3.0 but since it's not supported natively by Sandy Bridge I'm skeptical, and bluray? :(

Edit: johnnymg is too fast...

does any one know when it is going to be natively supported ? Like from one of Intels roadmaps maybe. One thing im sure of is they need a better camera....maybe 2 hahahaha jk jk. Does the iphone have a better camera?

does anyone have any info on what kind of spec updates we might see? i have a macbook that is about 2 years old and i would love to upgrade to my first MBP. i love the look and sleekness of the unibody, i hope they dont change it too drastically if at all

I just got a new Macbook Pro 13" on 2/3/11 because my old Macbook laptop was stolen. There's no possibility that I might could go in and switch mine out for a new one on Thursday could I? LOL

I've seen this mockup before and it looks nice, but that reflection kills me every time. That's not how reflections in the real world work. You would never see the bottom of the screen with the "MacBook Pro" logo.

I really don't care if the enclosure is updated or not.

Here's what I'm hoping for;

13" with high res screen, 64GB SSD on logic board for OS/major apps, conventional 500GB HDD, separate audio in/out (SPDIF on both), sandy bridge CPU, internal superdrive, two Firewire 800 ports (not likely but it's just what I need).

I just sold my 13" 2010 model, so I'll be buying one regardless.

so i would go for the 15 inch i guess 320 gigs is that enough for a college student with movies music photos documents exc

If it's not enough it's easy enough to buy an external disk or you could replace the internal hard drive later on with a 3rd party hard drive or a SSD.
