New MBP 17" delivery dates!

If it doesn't ship tomorrow and the page isn't updated call and complain for a rebate.
Say you suffered loss of earnings.
As I wrote here befour. I´ve ordered my 17 inch MBP on JAN 8 and I was told by our local apple store that it was beeing assembled in 5/2 and should be shipped within a few days... FEB 11 seems to me to be a few days from 5/2
You don't have an online order it sounds like, did you get an update from them yet?
I commented on this yesterday...my link turned gray yesterday (I kept track of that because I was thinking about changing my shipping address). Someone said that maybe Apple has printed the shipping labels...if that's the case, hopefully, these machines will ship a little earlier than the 19th!
My original date was Feb 9, and was pushed to Feb 19th.. but as well, no email notification was sent on the 9th or since.. so not sure if everyone is getting notified by the email. Tempted to give them the call and act like i really didn't know.. since my delivery date is tomorrow or the following date according to the original "non-email notified" date... might be worth the call for a chance at a little off the price, or free shipping.. etc.
My shipping changed a day or so ago as well.. so I am inclined to believe the label theory.. like it's been said here earlier.. I doubt Apple, after all the delays and the media storm around it.. would delay to the 19th making that a drop dead date unless they were sure that was a buffered time they could easily meet. My previous years of Apple orders have all come before the ship date.. so considering they change.. my best guess would be the labels are printing, hence the fact we cannot change shipping info.. my card was pre-authorized for a second time for the full amount late last week.. so my guess is the charge will drop in the next few days.. end of week, etc.. box will go out and arrive a few days before the 19th.. just as with all other previous orders.. problems obviously delayed the initial estimates.. but I doubt Apple would make this second estimate without knowing they could ship sooner or dead on... just a little longer
Can you provide a screenshot? Not that we don't believe you just it goes against everyone else's dates and this is the Internet
I just checked my order status at work (from a different computer) and it reads the same.
Ships FEB 11
Can anybody tell me how to upload a .tiff screeenshot of my Apple Order Status page?
Either someone made a mistake or I will be one of the first to receive such a jewel..
I don't know... For some reason I have an intuition that we will see at least some machines ship this week, possibly as early as tomorrow. However, I also wouldn't be surprised if they ship later rather than sooner, or even if apple delays the ship dates still further. Only time to tell, but we'll know if the "ships this week" theory is correct in just a few days.
I just bought an ASUS EEE PC 1002HA (couldn't resist, since I will be without a laptop until this MBP arrives ARGGGG).

Missing out that the EEPC was probably thrown together by monkeys, is made from plastic not an aluminium unibody, was designed by a blind man, uses cheap readily available generic components, is easier to ship due to its lighter weight, doesnt come in sexy Apple packaging, uses Linux or Windows not Mac OS X, doesn't have a firewire port, has a terrible battery, has similar specs to my Windows 95 desktop....

My MacBook Pro is a Replacement From Apple Customer Relations it is a 2.93GHZ with 8GB Ram and the 320GB 7200rpm HD and Glossy Display and it ships the 16 Feb i have been sent various emails by the senior manager and the date is unchanged

OK guys here is a screenshot of my order..
Apple Corporate Executive Relations is replacing my almost 3 year old 17 mbp (2.16mhz) because the screen and keyboard failed 3 times each...
Anyway, after communicating directly with corporate offices (don't ask me how) and expressing my issue, someone at that level gave me an order number telling me that it would ship FEB 11.
That was las JAN 20th
check it for yourselves...
I thought that since everybody's orders were changing, mine would be changed as well, but after checking today 7 times, it still reads the same...
I am not joking guys, it will ship tomorrow!
