Well.. the chronological order isn't always right. Guess it might have something to do with time zones. It'll get right once it's delivered if I remember correctly. The only thing i think you need to focus on is "NOW IN-TRANSIT FOR DELIVERY". You'll get it soon!

It started in Shanghai, went to Demark?, then it went to Korea... lol

Actually, DE is Germany (DEutchland). I'd guess it's out for delivery by now.

I ordered (at the 8 of JAN) a MBP 17 inch Matte, SSD 256 GB and a faster CPU . and its expected to be delivered next week

Great! I ordered a 2,93 GHz (no matte, no ssd) from an APR (DS store i Norrköping) on Jan 10. SSD and matte seem to be delivered somewhat later than HDD and glossy, but you ordered two days ahead of me.. which shouldn't be that much of a difference after all. Hope I'll get mine by next week too.

The laptop shipped from Shanghai to Korea. It is probably on its way to Cologne Germany now. That is where the clearing agency is that clears it for import into the EU. They had received the information on your shipment and then cleared it to continue on.

Really? Then I'm mistaken. I've only ordered from Apple store once, but the "RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT FOR DELIVERY" made me think it already got past that step.

In that case.. Sorry if i got anyone excited!

The store called me today, saying "Your computer has arrived!". I got really happy, then replied "Wait.. what computer?". The store guy replied "Your Macbook Air".

So at least i got that one back. It got the kernel_task bug two weeks ago so the store took it back for repairs. Now I'm only waiting for the next call from the same store saying the same thing.

That is less of a wait than some... Some ordered the first week apple offered them and waited over a month plus.

I know, but there are also reports of people that ordered early february and already got a shipping notice. So I'm still hopeful on getting my macbook before 13-03

Just got the shipped notice from Apple. I see that the email from Apple shows delivery by Feb 23, but the FedEx tracking page shows delivery by 10:30am Feb 20. I'm excited! I ordered Feb 4th for a 2.93, 7200rpm 320GB drive, 4 GB RAM, glossy with Aperture and Final Cut Express installed, with DVI adapter from the ADC site. I'm located in Florida.

My shipment says the same thing. Apple reports the 23rd while FedEx says the 20th. Either way it's finally on its way.

I ordered the anti glare model on Jan 6 at 10:59 AM PST. I'm still "Not Yet Shipped" on Apple's Order Status page. It says "Ships: February 27th". But...I noticed this morning that my credit card available balance is down the amount of the purchase, but no charge has been made yet. Could I be close?

good to see someone else that ordered the anti-glare screen. i ordered after you and have yet to have any pre-auths or charges. hoping it will ship by friday. i'm hoping ordering from the EPP store doesn't delay my order further. still doesn't look like any matte screens shipped yet.

Just received an Email from Apple which leads me to the Shipment Tracking Page. Estimated Delivery 24th - Being shipped by UPS. I tried putting the UPS Tracking code in to the UPS site but they do not have any Tracking info on it as yet. Gosh I'm excited

I'm wondering if the shipping process is different for the UK regarding the info made available. I got my 'Shipped 17th' email yesterday & since then nothing-remains 'In Transit' at 12.30 GMT today. No tracking number-just an Estimated Delivery (subject to change) of 27th. You have a UPS tracking number already. Feeling a bit jealous (!) 'cos I ordered 13 Jan, same spec machine, & you seem to be a stage further on.
Now make me even more jealous & tell me you've got a delivery date of this week!
Me, I'd certainly be a lot happier once I get a confirmed delivery date-I could then just forget it & stop checking!

Okay, status update: in less than 24 hrs after receiving "prepared for shipment" my order status went to "shipped". Although originally the in-hand delivery was set for the 20th, Fed-Ex updated the shipping to the 23rd because "Package received after FedEx cutoff". No biggie. I have piece of mind knowing that it is en route from China. (originally ordered Jan 9th)

**BTW - no delivery notification from Apple. And I still have the charges pending on my online bank statement.**

God, finally "prepared to ship" which means nothing. I ordered the base model on Jan 11th and it still hasn't shipped, hopefully it will go out today and I can get it by Friday but I wont hold my breath, it looks like I wont get it till Monday now. :-(

So all orders come from China, wouldn't it be easier, faster and cheaper to ship them in a giant order to the US and then ship them out from there?

Oh, finally I can't cancel or change shipping info but my credit card has not been charge or authorized yet.

I am soooo pissed that I now have to wait until Monday the 23rd when I Pre-Ordered mine the 6th of January at 11:43AM. Its total BS that people who ordered after me are beginning to receive theirs and I'm left up ***** creek. It was suppose to ship the 19th and arrive the 20th, but since it missed the cut off time I have to wait even longer. This is just unacceptable. I need to work!

Has anyone tried calling APPLE or FEDEX to see if they can pull any strings to make the shipment faster?

Or offer any kind of compensation for the wait??

I have a stock model. Apple is giving it to me to replace a broken late-2008 model MBP. The order date was Jan. 20th.

You will get it sooner. Even those with the 19th ship dates are shipping early on the 18th and I would figure if they are early now, they will be much earlier for your order time.

Same with me. I checked right before going to bed around 11pm (working in PS on photos which is an addiction within itself [I have about 4-5 addictions going at once]) and mine went from not shipped to prepped for shipping and this morning, it was SHIPPED dog-nob-it..

I was moved up in terms of shipping priority to 2-3 day and it cerainly could be here Friday, but the latest Monday. Friday is always good so you can get up to speed on the weekend when theoretically more time exists to stay up till 4am getting things configured and settled in.

Did I mention I have some addictive characteristics?

Mine says its been "Shipped" for two days now (48 hours), but i still havn't got any tracking info, does anyone else have this? It's rather strange and ive never had anything like it from Apple before
