Hi,
Did you get the tracking information at the same time as you got the 'Shipped' email? I got my 'Shipped' email yesterday, 17th, but tracking info still today says 'in transit' & 'tracking information will be updated shortly'! How long is 'shortly'-seems to be 30hrs+-come on Apple or UPS or whoever!
 
Are you using the carrier tracking code listed on the details page and looking it up on UPSs site? That's much more accurate than Apple's info.

This seems to be a common situation affecting UK (possibly pan-european?) customers. I'm seeing the same message.

There's no code and no listed carrier. Just "tracking information will be updated shortly" in the fields where that information should appear.

It only takes 12 or so hours to fly from China, so given that my laptop left China 2 days ago you would have thought UPS would have a UK shipping number so i could track it by now. This is bad customer service but anyway i wont rant on.

Lucky you! My matte 2.93/7200 was ordered Feb 7, but ships March 17 - almost 2 whole weeks longer for my custom options it seems.

Looks like the only difference is the matte screen, I've also got a 2.93 GHz and 7200rpm HDD
 
has ANYONE received the matte screen model ? i ordered thru our companies corporate account so no way to check on status but the dealer said they are expecting matte screen ones by the end of feb.

i ordered 2.93, 320gb 7200rpm, ANTI glare, 4gb ram
 
Well, my Clubmac order just got pushed back to the 23rd. I was afraid that would happen. It was supposed to ship later today. I would bet all the other resellers were pushed back a week as well........

i ordered on jan 6th with the only CTO being the matte screen and mine doesn't ship till 2.27. so you wont have to wait as long as i have. :) so far, no matte screens have shipped that i've seen (or someones posted).
 
Ok, mine shipped early this morning (probably 12:00am to be exact) since the date of shipping is the 18th. I hope to receive before the weekend; but once you have waited this long, another couple days over the weekend isn't so bad is it?

Is it? Come on, someone tell me it isn't so bad....:confused::eek:

and you ordered a matte screen ?
 
Mine also just shipped 2 hours ago. Got the email and it will be delivered directly from China through TNT (I think Apple used this carrier for pan-Asia Pacific region, it's the same in Australia, Thailand and Singapore that I have seen)

Anyway my order was on 27th Jan, US keyboard ships to Australia with Thai Country Kit. It says delivers on 24th Feb.

Just can't be any happier :D
 
My Fed Ex tracking page has this message posted in red....

Yeah but mine is still in China so no worries.
 
What happened to mine is the question...

Check this one out. Order on Jan 6th @ 1:00PM PST. CC has been auth'ed. Called Apple and they say nothing is holding up my order???

I am in the UK and was getting that too. I tried in the US page and had a tracking number come up and courier company:

Shipped on: Feb 16, 2009 via Syncreon Technology

The tracking number is not very useful as I cannot use it on their website. Try this link to see yours and post back your results:

i'm not going to lie, the weekend is going to suck. :) good luck not pulling out your hair.
