I think we can easily conclude that the estimated delivery dates in the order status are quite accurate... hope to get mine next monday!
New status today: 'Bezorging gepland door laatste vervoerder, zie verwachte bezorgdatum'.
Delivery date still 10 of November, so next monday!
I also got an trackingnumber this time which is the same as 'Ons leveringsnummer'. Not traceable anywhere. I heard (here) that this number can change during the day so that it is traceable at UPS or TNT
UPDATE: Klaar voor bezorging bij klant.

I still don't see why it takes so long (with or without merging) and made some jokes about it, but I'm not really concerned.
Right now I'm typing on a pre-Oct 2008 MBP which is a still a great machine and in a way its nice to know that such a cool new machine will be on its way soon and to read about the experiences of macrumors users.
Actually my new MPB will be delayed because a few days ago *I* changed my mind and decided to switch to a US keyboard layout before the original order shipped.
...so just being patient but sometimes, "I can't wait"!!

Wow it is so close! In your shoes, I'd call the distribution center to see if they allow Saturday pickups
TNT does deliver on Saturdays, UPS doesn't normally. I think it's a shame that Apple doesn't use DHL-Express, they have very extensive tracking service and take 2 days not two weeks to deliver. But I guess 'Free Delivery' wouldn't apply any more...
I got some good news today, my CANON PIXMA MP610 and MBP 15.4/2.4/CTO were shipped today. Now I'll have to wait a bit more than a week and I then I shouldn't have to use my Lenovo anymore.

Did you also order it on 24th? They first said 12-14 nov, then -some days after the order- the 11th, and now for the last week it changed to the 10th.

The Dutch keyboard is almost exactly the same as the Int'l EN keyboard on Classic MBs. "num lock" on the F6 key = ""num vergr" on the Dutch keyboard. Since as I understand, the new MBPs don't have num lock, I don't know what the difference is anymore.
The most noticeable differences with the US keyboard layout is a different return key. On the US keyboard its the height of a normal key, the width of two keys instead of a thin upside down L-shape. Also the left shift key is wider. As a result the tilde "`"/"~" key is up by the "1" replacing the "§"/"±" key.
I think it looks better and it is more common.
I never understand the §±-key in the first place. The return key is far more better than the spare space filling upside down 'L'... Wished I knew it.
Nope...tried both the 0800 and the local number. I was expecting that these sort of companies would work 24/7. Let's wait until monday then, alright we are almost there...
I like it a lot. I have to get used to the chicklet keys and compared to my Toshiba laptop it has a different layout as well. After a day playing with it I'm getting used to it.
The only problem I have is that the base of the laptop is very cold so if I have my wrists on the aluminium it's quite cold.
