I'm ready to buy the Apple Watch Pro, or whatever it's called. I dearly want to use it for my dialysis maintenance, bp, ekg, O2 sat and any other biological sensors Apple can manage. The ability for me to record all of my medical data and then airdrop it/transfer it when I'm at the dialysis clinic would be priceless for me. I know it's not included, has never been speculated on - but I would *love* to have plasma Sodium, Potassium and Phosphorus.
Even if they had all those sensors/features built in, the battery life for me would be unacceptable. I would love being able to just glance at my wrist and seeing all of these biological variables (in an always on display format) and immediately know what I can/can't eat for a meal.
For the rare times when I stray away from home (dialysis), I'd settle for a 3 day battery life with always on display. Of course, being toggle-able b/c I get that some people don't want that feature.
Everyone in the clinic where I go has/have Apple Watches, iPhones, iPads, etc. I've been asked why no Apple Watch for Tom considering that they know my love of toys/gadgets. They understand my hesitance.
C'mon Apple, surprise and please me.
Tom
(When hospitalized back in 2001, I had portable sensors stuck on my chest for 3 days. Battery powered and ~24-36 hours power. No display, clunky as hell by todays's standards - but it recorded ekg, bp and pulse as long as I wore it)
