Everyone else still have to wait till September. They aren't getting anything faster.
and even thats weirder because I have the model of iPhone that has the bare minimum for Apple Intelligence, and I got in in less than 48 hours.

has anyone tried to turn off siri and reenabled it or change languages to try to redownload or get off waitlist early ?

so I restored my new 17 pro from icloud, installed ios 27, siri is already there and no notification for indexing, while iphone 15 PM still have indexing going on. May be something to do with RAM availability

Australia datum for ya,
  • updated ipad ios27 & waitlist for Siri 7 days ago
  • iPhone updated 48 hours ago
  • got Siri 10 hours ago on both. Both still indexing - leaving both on charger.

I’m in after more than one week - I joined the waitlist on Tuesday noon.

iPhone 17 Pro, Location: Austria/EU
Indexing finished on Sunday.

Setting:

- Language/Region: English US
- AppStore: US

I did the bypass trick on the Mac on Wednesday.

I got Siri Monday night on my iPad M4, i was waiting 6 days, its still indexing
I downloaded iOS 27 for my iPhone 17 pro yesterday (Tuesday 16th) and new Siri was activated immediately.

Both devices are still indexing but seem to be working well, and in some cases its snappier, or less throttled.

Mines just gone through. Woke up this morning and it was ready.

iPhone 15 Pro Max. Signed up to Beta on Tuesday last week. Between that time I have changed phones to a replacement 15 Pro Max just yesterday. Seems it's tied to your Apple ID then in that case.

Hey, I’m in Germany with the same setup!

After the Mac bypass, did you wait one week and most importantly, did you switch your App Store / Media & Purchases back to your EU account, or are you still on the US one? Does it affect Siri AI at all?

I tried switching to my German account today after Siri AI was enabled, The old Siri came back. even when you set the language or region to German, the old Siri returns.

Servus!

When you switched back to the German (Apple Store) account, did Siri AI disappear from Settings, or was it still there but Siri just went back to normal?

And if you switch again to the US account, does Siri AI come back immediately?

Yes exactly, Siri reverted to normal and no longer displayed the beta indicator. I switched back to the non-EU account and Siri AI Beta reappeared after a few minutes.

I have Apple One on my German account, so I’m wondering what we are going to do with the subscriptions?

Ok, that is bizzare

I just got a new 16 last Tuesday, and right after it got and restored into iOS 27 dev beta 1, it was already hard at work on indexing and had to join the waitlist for Siri AI

My indexing is finally done. Now just wait to be approved on the Siri waitlist. Looking forward to trying it out!
Mines finished waitlist/download first thing the day after I updated. Then 3-4 days after indexing stopped.

It depends how much you put in your iPhone. I used about 45-50% of storage so it didn’t take long.

Btw this dropped in my feed. You can use the console app on Mac to check progress on it exactly 👍

if you only sign into a different Apple ID in the App Store, your iCloud+, Apple One, and AppleCare+ subscriptions on your main account remain active. The issues only start if you change the region of your primary Apple ID itself.

Well, using the tip above, it appears that my spotlight indexing progress is 95% complete but I STiLL haven't gotten access to the New Siri. Sigh. Anticipation....
