I am so sorry if this has been addressed, but when this new SIRI rolls out for the general public, do they have to go through the same procedure being put on a wait list? Something tells me they do, for it's about each individual iPhone that dictates the wait time. Is that true?

Literally just looked down at my phone randomly and new siri is there. I joined the day after beta 1 release. Indexing was done within 48 hours of updating to beta 1. 17 Pro Max. Now to relearn muscle memory for notifications.

I installed the beta on my iPad Air M3 and 17PM last Tuesday (6/9) and joined the waitlist around 10am eastern (USA) that day. I just received the new Siri at 2pm eastern today, so a little over 8 days.

I have left my Mac on 26.5.1 also, so no beta on it, if that matters to anyone.

I asked it to find a booking number in my email for a trip coming up and it found it, which I was impressed with. Also, noticed that Siri is a circle on iPad compared to the oval on iPhone to match the Dynamic Island.

iPad Air M3 finished indexing Monday (6/15), and my 17PM says it is at 94% the past 2 days.

if you only sign into a different Apple ID in the App Store, your iCloud+, Apple One, and AppleCare+ subscriptions on your main account remain active. The issues only start if you change the region of your primary Apple ID itself.
Precisely. My iPhone 17 remains on the waitlist with the US Apple Store while Apple One subscriptions fail to appear, yet my iPad A16 still connects to the German App Store with all subscriptions accessible.

It’s arrived! Been slightly over 8 days, no notification, just pulled down the screen and see it there (the app). Then went to Siri and got the ‘try new Siri’. Good luck to those still waiting. Uk and English settings.

Interesting

From what I've seen from those who got it, they got a "ready for Siri" notification

In about an hour and 45 mins, it'll mark just over a week, 8 days, that I've been on this waitlist; I have it on my MacBook Air to try it already, but goodness how this has gotten a bit ridiculous

I truly wish we could know how Apple is onboarding people becuase it just seems so gosh darn random lol

Seems the systems does it in waves with doing some in the morning before then taking a break and then doing a bunch in the afternoon and into the evening (and even overnight, as I've seen some saying that they woke up to it)

if you get it on one device do you automatically get it on any other? like is it tied to your account or is it device by device?
Some have said that when they got it on one device, they got it on all of them, but that doesn't seem to be the case for me

I got past the waitlist on my Mac (M2 MacBook Air) by using those Terminal hacks, but that didn't get me past it on my iPhone 16

Seems like it is likely on a device by device basis, at least in my case

I was thinking about this, I waited much less time defragging my computer with a much larger number of files on it, maybe at most a few hours if that. I can't wait to see what happens when this rolls out and everyone has to be put on the waiting list. I wish there was a bar graph showing the progress of this indexing.

I got it just a couple of hours ago after waiting 194 hours, and I just happened to see it on the Siri page of Settings, never got an actual notification.

I got it today and it showed up with notification on both devices I have running 27, at the same time.
Interesting

I'm starting to wonder if me skipping the waitlist on my MacBook Air with the Terminal trick messed something up for my iPhone

Probably a silly thought at this point, but it could be possible (but also not)

Regardless, it sounds like any day now, any minute now, I should hopefully, finally at long last should be getting it

I was wondering the same thing
