Gee, not that again. Bernie lost the popular vote by over 3 million votes. Get over it. There were people in the DNC who didn't like him (shocker!), but that isn't why he lost.

Keep telling yourself that. Hillary couldn't pack a high school gym and Bernie managed to pack stadium after stadium. Uh huh. And even if you're correct in your assessment, every poll showed Bernie beating Trump. Hillary sycophants couldn't do what was best for the country because they needed that empty pantsuit for their first woman president. And how'd that work out? Thanks Hillary lovers!

We spend tens, probably hundreds of billions of dollars a year on our intelligence community. It appears they are using some of that money to develop tools that will let them keep track on the sort of Russian spies and terrorists who really pose a risk to us all.

I usually agree with most of your posts, but this one is an outlier. these sorts of tools need to be used under a framework of transparency and law. Given the direction the US has been going in I wouldn't trust them to be used appropriately at all. The right to privacy is an important one, not lightly brushed aside.

I don't get it. I really don't get it.

I've been reading for years how my apple phone is SO SECURE. And, many of you proclaimed the same thing. Buy a Google phone if you want your information shared, you said.

Now it comes out that my apple phone is just as vulnerable as any other. I thought I was paying for my privacy? I thought we didn't need to worry about this.

And why aren't all of you that touted the apple phone for being so secure aren't in an uproar. Tim has been lying to us all!

actually I have seniority in the fruit pickers union, no more picking oranges, it's just strawberries for me :D

most here have the education & manners that it takes to debate/converse w/o hurling insults............I am NOT like most here as I failed many times in that regard and the proper vacation was handed out , hence the reason I told you to step away from the keyboard earlier.

And if you took time to read the release, you would know that the CIA lost control of these tools to outside actors.

  1. Google is an Ad company that makes technology to gather data to sell to you better, Apple is a Hardware/Software company that doesn't rely on Ads for revenue....Privacy point
  2. No such thing as an all out secure anything, levels of security differs per device and OS etc.
  3. Yes Apple is still more secure than Android due to OS architecture...Google the details.
