I hope they don't call it iPhone 6S or 6S Plus.
Maybe iPhone 7 or something like iPhone Air?

I really liked the bendable feature. You know, it allows me to have a different look for the phone depending on the situation. :(

Ming is a woman and yet in most article people assume she is a man and refer to her as "he". Please fix this.
This is incorrect. Ming-Chi is a man.

Considering we are now waiting for the next "s" series iPhone, it's safe to presume they will be called iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. In 2016, we'll see iPhone 7.

The Ming guy/lady wrote they would be
They're ugly and cumbersome. And for that reason Apple won't do it.

Bearing in mind that HTC brought duel cameras to the One, and later got rid of them. They're pointless when you could have one solid solitary camera instead of two weaker ones.

There have been rumors that Apple wants to drop the 's' designation because of the negative connotation that an increasing number of people have for it. It may look similar to the 6, but may be called the iPhone 7 because of the significant hardware upgrades. When it comes to perception/image, Apple is willing change/shake up their routine of naming their products. Nothing is written in stone.

What's the problem with it? Since it is sapphire I didn't have a scratch and therefore no problems at all.

Thank you #teamantiantiprotrudingcamera.
In all seriousness, it did say that they would make it thicker. What people don't realise is that the commercial thickness actually includes the camera. So they might still brand it as 7.1mm (since both phones will likely have OIS) but the whole body will probably be thicker.

That's some kind of carbon coating that I think may be a different process alotgether. For instance, I think the regular space gray aluminum sports watch uses a different process and so it won't hold up as well as the stainless steel black model. What would be interesting is to hear from space gray sport watch owners is how well it holds up to scratches vs. something like the iPhone 5 or original iPad Mini. From what I remember at my try-on appointment it seemed darker than my iPhone, but not as dark as the iPhone 5. If they can find a nice middle ground that doesn't scratch too easily then I'd be all for it. Although honestly most of the reason I care is because of the resale value. I tried to not use a case when I got the 6 but it was so slippery that I had to get a case just to grip the darn thing! Especially since I have a Plus which can be unwieldy. Maybe when I go down in size to the 6S I can pickup a bumper from somewhere. I loved the bumpers on my iPhone 4/4S.

Got it, I didn't know that the coating was a separate trait from the anodizing itself - just figured that both led to a higher quality finish. To be honest the phrase "space grey" used by apple is kind of all over the place. The space grey used on the 5S, the space grey used on the 6, and the space grey used on the apple watch are all different shades. I agree that the iPhone 5 (and original iPad Mini) were the darkest shades (black), and the 5S is the darker shade of "space grey" at least when compared to the 6. I think the apple watch is a bit darker too, and definitely the black stainless steel is even darker than the sport apple watch. I like the darker look better, but it would never justify me paying for the stainless steel version. I agree with the slipperiness of the 6, and I can't imagine the 6+ lol. I would never. I'll be getting a case as well for my 6S, and I've been case-less for years. The rounded edges kinda kill it.

The iPhone 6 has been fine but I want a smaller phone again, assuming it has a better battery and camera than the 5S

What are you looking for exactly? A 6C? If so the battery life may be a little bit better, but not likely to much too much better than the 5S; assuming most specs are the same. Far and large, the best way to improve battery life is by increasing the size of the battery - which would be difficult to do if the size remains the same as the 5S/5C.

Lol this is a problem to nobody..
Guess people will always find something to bitch about.

I'm not complaining at all. But a lot of people that dropped $50 on a case will be complaining plenty if they have to buy a new one and then wait for them to be released.

Even the "black" on the iPhone 5 was more of a slate color. It had a slight blue sheen to it, especially in bright direct light. They certainly aren't consistent with their blacks and grays.

The rounded edges and the thinness gives little to hold onto. That's the biggest problem. I'm just not seeing how they can push these devices any thinner without either building in ridges for extra grip or using materials like leather directly attached to the body. It's gonna be crazy in a few years unless they hop off the thin train.

I'd be willing to pay more for an iPhone that has that more scratch resistant black carbon coating over stainless steel. That would look pretty awesome—like a thinner all-metal iPhone 3G/3GS. DO WANT.

They should come up with a new connector already, Lightning is getting so old. MegaLightning is just what they need to bring revolutionary back to the iPhone line.

I'm sure they will go for a more squared off design for the iPhone 7 again. They generally go back and forth between round and square. The 3 being rounded, then the 4 being more square - then the 6 being more round again. I honestly think squared edges will will look really nice for the next model, since the phone has gotten a bit bigger. It'll likely look classy, but also chic this time. I don't think the 6 has quite the stark impression that the 4 and 5 had - too meek.

2gb ram is all I care about.

That said, probably sit this one out. 1gb on the iPad drove me bananas, leading me to sell up till the Air 2 arrived. On the phone, it's mildly irritating but my usage of it is simpler so doesn't quite grate so much.

I must be the only person on the planet who likes the ultra light gray of the back of the iPhone 6. The black iPhone 5 looked terrible from day one IMO, and the lighter but still pretty dark space gray 5S didn't look a whole lot better. Finally the ultra light iPhone 6 looks the way it should, IMO.

If the gold phone gets more yellow, barf, and if the space gray gets more black, barf. Rose gold actually sounds nice though.

Wish they were making it thicker to accommodate a bigger battery -_-

Buy an accessary for extended battery, don't try to force all of the others to carry extra weight and ugliness for the convenience of the minority group you are in. At least you have a way to extend the battery at present, the others don't have a way to peel out the extra if Apple ever really make the phone thicker!

Here we go, there will always be complains about anything they do. Oh poor Tim Cook...
