NVIDIA Powered MacBooks on October 14th?

Just looking at buyers guide, looks like '06 and '07, macbook refreshed in November :) - so some good news!

But then, that wouldn't be in the same quarter that the new products were supposed to come out in: can you really say that the nano, touch were revolutionary, or at prices the competition can't match?

So what do you guys think - are we going to see them, or was Oppenheimer (i think it was him) talking about the nano, touch?

Nobody ever said there would be an event in the first place. TUAW, 9to5, Apple insider and the rest said they may release them on the 14th. They never to my recollection (maybe i'm wrong) said there will be an event. The event thing started here on this forum I believe. Some random noob probably said omfg when will the event be and the whole thing blew up.

Who knows? Apple rarely speak clearly about anything, I rather have a conversation with a drunk than trying to decipher what the head honchos at Apple say.

Here we go again. June! No, July! No, August! No! September 9th! No, September 16th! No, the 23rd! No, October 14th! No!!! November!!!

At this point I swear I'm better off just not buying a MBP altogether. I've been waiting since WWDC. No way I'm spending $2k for a year old, bad-GPU notebook.

hmm those are nice, how much are they? i may consider this if the new macs doesnt come out next week... a month ago i was at all time high for the new macs but now ive considered many options. :( cmon :apple: please!

Vaio's aint cheap, they sell for around the same price as the macbook pro/macbook air here in sweden, which is about 3-4k$.

I never said on the 14th I said before then it looks like because they released them either this month or during the first 2 weeks of nov.


Hey does anybody happen to have an extensive buyers guide that goes farther back. I'm interested in looking at it.:D

Tell that to Stevo, and besides, we were all assuming there'd be an event, it makes more sense for there to be one, and they need invites.
 
oh well i'm not disappointed....that means for sure being able to order them as soon as they show up. Don't have to wait for Jobs to talk about it, then 3 days later be able to order :)

Haha, yeah exactly. :p Well it seems really future proof but I'll have to wait and see before I make up my mind.
