I haven't had any emails yet - just done a check on My Orders

@Richuk89... i think they would have been in touch to be honest. But since you have an order number you can always call customer services to check that its all ok if you are worried.
 
Cheers, i probably will tomorrow morning if i haven't had a dispatch email/text. When i got my order confirmation through this morning i was on the way to work and the email came up on my iphone, i nearly drove off the road with all the excitement! :D :apple:
 
ordered from failover form, order is in progress in My o2, no emails received - does the tracking information appear online, or just by email?
 
I have literally just had my order show up on my O2 - no email, got my failover in at about 3:00pm - but I did send an email to the CS team asking if it had gone through earlier today (though I doubt they've got that far).
 
Nevermind just got my dispatch confirmation!!!! Can't wait for Friday! Love my boss, she agreed to let me have it delivered to work!!

Either that or they are lying about being out of stock!
 
mine has now just gone to "despatched - 9th July" hopefully now for Friday.
 
I thought I would phone DHL to see when they expect it to be delivered but they closed at 6pm!

Is it possible they can be delivered tommorrow? Logistically yes it is. But o2 have definately told DHL to wait until Friday for delivery.

Of course mistakes happen so who knows - we will find out tommorrow!
 
Mine went "In Progress" with an order number this afternoon. Says order date was today (the 9th) but I ordered it successfully on a Failover at about 2:30 on Monday.

I have never received a confirmation email but assume that I am moving ahead to a Friday delivery from what is being said here and on the other thread.

I suspect there are also quite a few who on checking weren't quite due an upgrade yet or their cards have failed which would make more room. Or perhaps O2 actually did something right and left themselves some contingency on the online orders.

I got a failover message and disregarded it to plan a trip to the store instead and then got a mail today. We'll see! Mine is still in progress rather than saying dispatched.
 
Mine is 011113xxx although which one it is that went through who knows.

Think I finally got the 'processing' one around 2ish and confess to not believing it since I'd been in the real screens, the text ones, the text ones without labels for so long that figured it was doomed.

Not holding my breath though until that tracking number shows up!
 
Well, after all my moaning I now have a confirmed order too, following a successful 'failover' message on Monday at 1.40pm.

Clearly they're not doing them in chronological order so there may yet be hope for those who are still waiting for news.

Still, I'm not quite there yet - the berks at O2, or rather their stupid address entry system which only allows one line per address, have left a vital line out of my address. This means that some guy 800 yards up the road might be getting a unexpected, shiny new present on Friday, unless they can get get notification of a change of address done on the package.

My use of calm language and lower case letters belies what's really going on in my head at this moment.

Same here, i received the emails and in my O2 the status is "in progress". But there is a problem with my delivery address, its kinda wrong! Must have entered the wrong details while I was frantically trying to submit the failover page, I must have done mine between 2&3. Ill give them a call tomorrow morning and hopefully *fingers crossed* i can get the address changed!

I just got order confirmation from O2. I placed my order on the failover page AFTER they threw up the "out of stock" message.

I'm happy. They can send me an iPhone when they get one for me, for now I'll just upgrade my current one to 2.0 and use all the new features.

Glad I won't be needing to go to the store.
 
Ordered an upgrade using the failover at around 14:30. Appeared in my orders on the o2 website at about 21:30 today (9th July).

Currently in progress.

My concern now, is, that this doesn't necessarily mean I've got one of the first batch of stock, or that it will be delivered on Friday. What if O2 are just putting all the FailBack orders onto the order system and fulfilling them as stock becomes available?


Roll on 8am when I can call them and find out...
 
My neighbour might get lucky tomorrow instead of me.

Spoke to O2 who said it might be difficult to change the address for the new phone.... so much for checking of data by them on orders.

But despite it still being 'in progress' i am still due to get it tomorrow i was assured.

Me too, they got various bits confused, didn't they!
 
my tracking now shows the phone is in CUSTOMER LOCATION as at 1.48am today, so ready for tomorrow. Something weird though - just got my email notification re bill for next month and this includes the cost of the upgrade at £159.00 so from the failover page, they have not taken my credit card details and it will be coming out of my bank account next month.....

Had 1 email this morning to say my order is being looked into, no shipping details as yet..

Am upgrading too!!!

Do you have an order number? I was told by O2 with confidence that if you have an order number, a physical phone has been allocated.
