haven't read this thread, but i just read an email dated 8:57AM saying my package was shipped today (25th) and will arrive tomorrow. apparently, i pre-ordered it on the 20th.

I just called APPLE Australia again, the rep said the UTD discs are being packed and will be shipped out TONIGHT via AUS post, will take 2-3 working days to arrive :mad:This sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Note: its 3:45PM 26 Oct.....

Ordered it in Belgium. Yesterday evening it said 'prepared for shipment' and now it has shipped, but...

Estimated Delivery Date: 05 Nov 2007 (Subject to change)
Postal delivery - please allow 5-10 days for delivery

5 Nov? Crap :(

Same here dude! I was kinda hoping to get it before the long weekend next week, but it is an Estimated Delivery Date, Apple does always build in a safety margin I've noticed, so you might get it a lot earlier than estimated.
Fingers crossed!

BTW does your tracking number work? Is the "KONINKLIJKE TPG POST BV" "TNT"?
Anybody?

The way I look at it, I'll have a few days of reading all the problems people have with Leopard over the next few days! As bug free Leopard has appeared from reviews so far, there's nothing like a million people installing it to work out the real bugs. Either way, in a week's time I'll have a Leopard machine to play with. A week ain't that long.
Exactly. As much as I'm excited with Leopard being released, I'd rather others take the plunge and report back on what works or not. So even if the UTD disk was here beside me now I wouldn't install until next week.

Mine still showing as "Prepared" BTW. Nowt on my credit card either.

Yeah, TNT was TPG before, which was PTT before that IIRC. But the tracking number doesn't work. They're not sending it through a delivery company, but through simply mail. So it's not possible to trace it, we can only hope it will end up in our mailbox one day :).

So, I just got a mail from Apple confirming my UTD Leopard is on it's way,
it says, expected delivery time 5 days, and because it's sent in regular mail it is not trackable… common Apple, I've just paid €3200 for a MacBook Pro, why snailmail for UTD? I am usualy quite patient in situations like this, maybe because it is a Leopard, I expect it to be fast…

Shipment date: 25/10/07

Estimated delivery date on or before: 29/10/07

Looks like a long wait too. Sigh. I wonder where are they shipping from when its stated that my delivery is by road.

Mine was sent by regular mail too......the APPLE rep said it takes 2-5 working days. :(

mm. mine's coming on or before 29th as well. i guess its not that bad a thing.. gives me the weekend to grab a new external for TM =)

Has anyone in the US been at least "prepared for shipment"? Mine still says "Not Yet Shipped". My credit card hasn't been charged either. :(

I'm not from US, but my order status changed straight from NOT YET SHIPPED to SHIPPED only a couple of mins ago, no PREPARED FOR SHIPMENT:eek:.
So going on that, in the UK they should switch to shipped this evening.

I'm jealous of you BTW, it's only noon here and already today is dragging. Hurry up weekend!!!
