how about when you travel outside USA, using date Roaming huh? and then pay about $200,000 phone bill huh?

no one crazy using that way , if travel outside usa ATT iphone is not unlock can't use for oversea carrier ,

that why i say if someone not travel much just stick with ATT
if travel daily then get unlock phone

take a read what i post above

hey! do you know what is data roaming?
Data Roaming is option that ATT gives you when you travel, you can use your own ATT phone and sim outside USA, but you have to pay them more, people doesn't want using data roaming that's why they looking for the unlocked phone

yes, Apple can control as long as they have phone's Serial and IMEI numbers, and Apple can lock your phone if you update new firmware

i only say to who is not travel just get ATT use like regular monthly pay provider
if travel alot then get unlock ,

i didn't say get ATT iphone and start using data roaming

yeah right , i got 1 iphone 4 32 GB neverlock buy over 1,000 bucks
restore/upgrade free , i did alot times restore and upgrade then what , nothing


if you say apple can lock neverlock iphone such as

canada
singapore
hongkong
france
europe
australia
and others , buyer will return all neverlock iphone back to that site they bought .....

if they know apple apple could lock neverlock iphone later ,i dont think they spend over 1,000 bucks to get those neverlock iphone from ebay or other site ...

you don't understand my point. Apple could lock neverlock iphone, but they don't do it because those phones are factory unlocked, and they get it directly from Apple

they can't do that , because shop online who sell iphone neverlock version has detail : never lock work with any gsm sim and never get lock

if apple do it , let see how many people in the world using never lock iphone buying from them site .......

but you right 1 things

neverlock iphone online sale only 7-14 days return , after that is warrenty from apple 1 year ...

The factory unlocked version was NEVER locked, and it never will be locked. The factory unlocked version is the ONLY never locked phone that Apple sells.

Why are you even considering buying an iPhone on e-Bay or some other third party Web site, especially since it costs over $1,000? You can get the factory unlocked version from the Apple Store for $649 (16 GB), $749 (32 GB), or $849 (64 GB).
 
wt so difficult to understand? NEVERLOCKED is neverlocked, UNLOCKING a LOCKED phone is PERMANENT. Damn. Don't think too complicated.

Yes, it is the same. There is only one officially unlocked model, and we commonly use the term "factory unlocked" to refer to it. It was never locked, and there is only one model.

That is only for the contract-free AT&T phone that comes with an AT&T SIM card, which some people are claiming that is unlocked at the moment. Apple and AT&T officially say that phone is locked, so of they forgot to lock it (just like they forgot to lock the Sprint phone), then they can lock it in the future with a software update (just like they did with the Sprint phone).

The factory unlocked phone that has no SIM card was never locked, and will never be locked. That is because Apple officially says that they will never lock it.

Stop confusing yourself and only buy it from the Apple Store and only ask for the iPhone that "comes without a SIM card." If you discover there is a SIM card inside the phone's SIM slot immediately after you open the box, then you bought the wrong one.

Uhhh, I managed to return the MC921LL/A which I have bought 2 days ago from local apple store, they just exchanged my old 4s into a new 4s MD244LL/A officially without simlock from Apple. In addition, why there is an information on AOS website that I have to wait 1-2 weeks to get iPhone? I bought MD234LL/A too at the same time (yesterday)

P.s. But I dont know why they sold me iphone 4s for full price 800 with tax with att sim card inside at the first time -.-

easy guess ....

1. i got iphone 4 32 GB , after fill up 20 GB music/video/photo in my iphone get slow and drain battery , so i remove them all , it run more smooth with out crash screen ,

2 . 64 GB is alot , people will sync around 50 GB all stuff in , apple have to make battery could handle it same like 16 GB , so let say ,

16 GB drain 2 hour
64 must drain the same 2 hour

which mean , if we remove all that stuff 50 GB out , then battery more improve than 16 GB


i know is hard to believe , but most of guy in this forum got 64 gb get better battery result like 5-7 hour after charger
