Someone should call this number: (86-21) 3896 5599. Its for UPS Shanghai Rep. Office

Go for it! I'm behind you 100%!:)

This is getting silly. They should update the tracking status. They let us look at the status and then they don't tell us anything!

Balls.

Apparently TNT update nothing until it arrives in Europe, which seems to take a couple of days, according to some posts earlier in this thread.
Should update tonight or tomorrow at the latest, I think !

Hope to see them next week.

Well, my 17" iMac has just arrived. This is fantastic. There's one dead pixel, but it's barely noticeable. All in all I love it.

I called and they said that it won't get delivered untill monday because of the chinese new year. It will be here next friday next week "guaranteed". Bastards!

Why is it FedEx seems to be working in Shanghai but not UPS. See Harveytorriti's post #788 on previous page?

Mee Too...

This is driving me nuttzzz... talked to Fedx a few times today and some lady finally told me my shiney new imac would be in a Tampa hub sometime tonight... she then stated that if i called apple and had a rep call them and request a saturday hold that i could pick it up tomorrow morning! yayyyy!

So then i call Apple and the guy i get happily calls CrapX for me to request the saturday hold @ the hub and what do they tell him? sorry sir... i dont think it will make it to hub until monday...

what can blue do for you?

Forgot to mention... the guy at Apple actually told me that they have lost quite a few new machines in transit...

Ups

Found the below FAQ at the UPS Website that was relevant to some of us:

I've been tracking my package, but it's not moving. Why?

Package movement information is captured each time a tracking label is scanned in the UPS delivery system. When your package is in transit, or over a weekend, tracking information may not be updated. Here are explanations for common scans you might see when tracking your package:

Billing Information Received: UPS has received the electronic transmission of package detail from the shipper. It does not necessarily mean that UPS has taken possession of the package.
Origin: The package has been received at the originating UPS location.
Departure: The package has left the originating location and is on its way toward the destination address.
Arrival: The package has arrived at an intermediate UPS facility or the destination facility closest to the delivery address.
Out for Delivery: The package has been placed in the final delivery vehicle.
Delivery: The package has been delivered. The date and time of delivery have been recorded.
Exception: If the package could not be delivered or was delayed, the reason has been noted.

Curious...
my iMac left Anchorage yesterday at 1:45pm... and there hasn't been an update on the tracking since. I certainly hope it's back on the ground somewhere. Today was day 3 so I guess Expedited Shipping was entirely not worth the expense.
