LOL we are following the same path Funk. I too was told I could pick-up the package at the depot but when I arrived I was told, like you, that it was in the Airport in a container!
I can't pick it up until Moday morning now. I have to say I have found the Fedex phone customer service staff to be fairly useless and on occassions rude. They have very little ability to tell you where you're package is and the left hand doesn't seem to know what the right hand is doing.
Here's hoping they don't mess things up on Monday and send my iMac on the truck and I waste another trip into town. They also refuse to let you call the depot and find out if you're package is there, which seems completely counter-intuitive. Especially after paying the extra
$33 for 2 day shipping, I am not a happy camper.
I'll be avoiding Fed-ex in the future.
