My imac arrived yesterday. I only opened it today, and i am extremely impressed. This machine really kicks ass. Wow. Good luck to all who are waiting on this awesome machine. I feel your pain.

Got my extra gig of RAM yesterday. Definitely makes a difference with non-Intel apps. Now I'm in the process of installing all the usual software. I've been so busy I haven't even had time to take pictures or update my blog. 
Buggy Flash
Well I know the intel Macs would have some bugs, for one thing Flash. One of you said that flash won't work at all. Mine does but, I've noticed some little quirks. On my webpage's flash window (http://www.steven-matarazzo.com Click on "Cartoons") the digital clock that is green turns purple, and the "static" graphics symbol on the TV screen is no longer there. It works fine on a PC or my PowerBook. I guess Macromedia still needs to fix some things in flash, it'll do for now but, definitely I'd like a fixed version soon.
The screenshot in the link below shows how it looks on my Mac, you can compare it to how it looks on your Mac or PC. You can right-click/control-click on the flash area and select "Zoom-In" to get a closer look.

Did you know Apple has a policy with FedEx...that if an order has the wrong address attached to it, and FedEx does not know the value of the shipment...FedEx will not change the shipping address without the "ok" of one of Apple's senior logistics organizing...people.
They were just about to cancel my order and send it back to Apple. The shipping address was off by one number ( a 4 instead of a 9). I would have had to wait till Apple refunded my money back to my credit card, then place another order.
I got everything sorted out...and I should have my iMac by tomarrow!

The delay in China....
I bought my Mom a 20-inch imac last week. Apparently, because of Chinese New Year, all shipments stopped this week, and will begin shipping out on Monday, when UPS china re-opens. I called Apple, and they're no longer charging me for expedited shipping. I'm excited for her to finally be a mac user. I'm not buying into intel until more apps switch over...

They all seem to go through the Philippines. Mine was in the Philippines Jan 30th, and got here two days later.
