i hope we get to plug in our custom music. i already have some ideas of stages i want to make.
also, does anyone else feel that brawl is going to be delayed to the spring or later with all these new features? something tells me they won't be able to get all of this done in just three months time...
Thing is, it is done. Going off the reports from the demo players it's bug free. Chances are the game is done and dusted, they're just tweaking it and finishing it all off.
Months ago they spoke about these upcoming features, and that they might not make it in (online I think was one, the submission feature definitely was). But they're in there now.
Conservatively I guess the game being launched early Feb for the US and Japan, late Feb for EU.

We all know game development is so easy right? Games are only delayed b/c developers are lazy right jimmi?

Yeah, the air dodge won't leave you vulnerable like before. According to the folks who demoed it, Brawl will be more of an aerial game than Melee (where going aerial was mainly a matter of preference or character selection).
brawl macrumors league?
i know we got about six months before we can do this, but i thought with so many forum members into brawl that we should have a brawl league starting on march 31, 2008 (that's the first day of baseball btw). any thoughts about how this is going to be set up?

i think we should start the league one month after the european release date, which is when (i don't know). that way, everyone gets used to the game a bit (and plus, i have spring training to do).
I can't imagine the release date being too far gone. Nintendo's own games don't seem too bad with European delays, we got Strikers first and are getting Galaxy just 3 days after the US. If you want to go deeper into the rabbit hole - the US and Japan Brawls were delayed to 2008, which it has always been for Europe with no set date. What's to say we don't get it first

Honestly it's just as if they've replaced Mewtwo's model there with Rayquaza. UNLESS IT'S A CLONE. Cuz it would be ace if they had a reference to the first films like that.

Hm, so apparently Nintendo can use even more third party characters as assist trophies. They've got one of Snake's enemies. Could we see Dr. Robotnik? Tails or Knuckles?
