OMG...Amazon 20% coupon on NEW Macbook Airs

It seems I'll try to get my hands on a kindle special offers just to take advantage of this deal. Never thought I'd a deal like this on new Macs.

HOWEVER - IF anyone can PM me an extra code they have, I would be eternally thankful!

So if I buy a kindle at BB, how do I get the code?

If someone could pm me a code I would really appreciate it! Im a college student, MBA would be great!

I've been eyeing a MBA on Amazon for the past two weeks. They slip in and out of that shipping estimate and in stock every couple days. I'm in no rush anyways but I HIGHLY doubt it wont ship next week at the latest.

The 3G should remain free as long as you own the kindle (but no one really knows for sure).

I wouldn't wait until Sept 8th to make the purchase, as Amazon has the right to close off this deal at any time (if you read their small print). Is the tax rate ties to the account you're paying from, or is there any chance you can order the laptop sooner, and have it delivered to someone you know in a tax free state? Just a thought.
 
so does emailing Amazon to receive the code a confirmed method ?
I am out of the states so I won't be able to receive the kindle till I go back but since the code is only valid for the next few days, I need to order kindle now.

And is there any limits on how many codes you can use per household?
I am planning to buy 3 kindles and wondering if I will be able to get the code for all 3
 
I'm glad that I checked my email earlier than normal this morning. Got a notice from them, went online using the code from my new Kindle the wife bought a few days ago had included and got my new MBA with overnight shipping.

Saved a ton, no tax, plus 20% off, and free shipping. It pays to be a high volume Amazon customer. Their shipping program is fantastic. Just got the tracking number 30 minutes ago and yes indeed it's set to arrive FedEx before 10am tomorrow.

That was a nice surprise. Everyday is new day and you just never know what it will bring :)

I just asked customer service and they said 3G will be free for lifetime, and the sept 8th should hold for sure...

I was thinking about doing that too... to ship it to another state... how troublesome. Tax is charged based on the shipping address...which is mine, in NY

I just checked and it shows that MBAs ship within 1-2 month? Your said the same in the cart? Thanks
 
What if it turns out they all have Toshiba SSDs and LG screens? j/k. :D

I'm seriously tempted to get a base as a second, or perhaps as a gift. $759 is pretty tempting.

No go, I tried this via Chat with a CSR earlier today. Best they could do was ensure a 20% discount was taken off the order when it shipped. Felt risky to me.

You could always buy a code on ebay, there's a bunch of them out there for $45 or so.
 
I just contacted Amazon, and told them I had a normal kindle, and that I'd like to convert it to a special offer kindle to get this coupon. They told me it wasn't possible, but they sent me the code anyway. This is awesome! I love Amazon! :D:D:D

Edit: you might want to try, but I find Amazon's customer service pretty random. For example, some people got additional credits for the $40 ps3 mistake awhile ago, while others didnt.

This is an amazing deal, my god. I paid 200 over, but got a 100 dollar gift card.....oh well.
 
I went searching at BestBuy and Target for the Kindle, but they didn't have the w/ Special Offers version. So I ended up buying one for $114 and bought an 11.6" Macbook Air 128GB for $916 with 1 day shipping. Thanks OP.
 
I have a 3G Kindle ... can I still access the special offers?
If someone can let me know, I'd be willing to sell my code for less than the going price on ebay :)

Does your Kindle show ads on the front page when you turn it off or does it show dead people? If it shows dead people then no special offers for you.

Great success. Just ordered a 13"/256/i5, many thanks to the OP for giving us all heads up on this deal...
 
Went to Target, bought a kindle with redcard (5% off) $116.70. Came back to work, used the coupon for the $1594 model and paid $1275.20 with free saver shipping. Put it back in the box and called my wife i got a kindle for her today.

i pat myself on the back for job well done.

i have the previous macbook air 13 ultimate and was refusing to buy the new one but with this deal i just had to jump on it.

Amazon has great service, but it's very inconsistent. I'd say the above guy got VERY lucky...
