The ONE feature that is annoying as hell on the iPhone compared to Android is file management and bluetooth sharing. If you don't have a wifi network, then you have to download a 3rd party app to share files via bluetooth, which is 1000 times easier on Android since there is a built in file navigator and native bluetooth sharing.I was in a similar boat. Using an Android phone for a few days made me miss iOS - even with all its issues - like someone on a desert island would miss _________ (whatever they'd miss).
Just like the fiberoptic digital audio is considered a headphone jack, rightPlus the dude is flat-out wrong -- iPhone 7 has a headphone jack. It just happens to not be a century-old port and uses a newer digital port.
^^ This was my favorite post of the day.Who the hell makes this Phone? Never heard of them lol but they mock apple lol
Any phone with a headphone jack > iPhone
All I want is headphones that have more than 2 channels, and be able to do something like a pseudo-surround sound system.
For that the 3.5mm jack is obsolete.
I don't doubt that Android is very solid. I just don't like the approach to usability. I have tried the most recent Android flavors and it's just not my thing. It's not iOS good, Android bad. More like iOS is more of what I want to interact with over Android.Android is a very solid platform now with the new multicore processors. Its like iOS on steroids with some very slick quality of life improvements. If you haven't tried a flagship android now really is the time.
Actually, OnePlus beat Apple in India last quarter (~18% market share compared to Apple's ~15% in the $400+ smartphone segment). They are owned by BKK, a large Chinese consumer electronics company that also sells phones under the Oppo and Vivo brands. It's one of a number of emerging brands that sell premium phones for much lower prices than the estabished companies. I think companies like this one will put a lot of pressure on Apple and Samsung.=Oddly enough, I wouldn't want to be seen using that knock-off in public. Jokes on them though, because no one outside the tech community knows of this company.
", at a largely rectified price."The Verge called it "a slightly smaller iPhone 7 Plus that runs Android."
Yes, that was the ONE THING they didn't blatantly copy.
What a dirty company. Pathetic, really almost scum-like. Never understood the hype surrounding them; they just churn out cheap garbage & amp up the exclusivity hype.

Abandoning the port is only the first step to getting the masses on board; it has to start somewhere. It's a step into the future; and that then snowballs which results in better connectivity and longer battery life in the ears (or years) to come. It's a shame that narrow minded folks can't see it.
The back is totally different. It doesn't have an Apple logo.I still find it shocking how similar the rear design is to the iPhone 7.
Yes, I've seen companies have their phone designs inspired by other companies, such as Apple, but this is a nearly identical copy.
I wonder if Apple will do something about it.
Why can't the presenters of cheap knock-offs speak proper English? It can't be that hard to find one native English speaker in all of China. With this accent I instantly get the impression of an inferior product.
I like headphone jacks too, however I like good sounding audio better, so using my Audioquest Dragonfly with £180 IEM's on the iPhone 7 is the best of both worlds.
I bet Jony Ive will take hostages at OnePlus headquarters.I still find it shocking how similar the rear design is to the iPhone 7.
