And I did have dinner with Steve. Steve who works at the gas station on my corner. We dined at MacDonalds, got a senior discount too. Anyhow, we discussed this, and reached consensus that no new updates this year, at best, a tiny refresh.
Come on, we know you're not telling the whole truth.
It was really this Steve you were chilling with and getting Apple advice from.
They wouldn't, but your statement wasn't true. I doubt anybody who hob-nobs with Steve would be wasting their time on this site.

Err, no. Check my comment history. I commented when the site was down - I ridiculed you fools specifically for reacting to the apple store being down. And I did that in many posts both before AND WHILE THE SITE WAS DOWN.

What I don't understand is why it takes a couple hours to update their store even when they DO have updates. I mean, wouldn't they have a staging area where they build/test the site, and then just cut over (shutdown/copy/startup/whatever) to the new content more or less instantly (ok, 10 minutes or so)?? Does it really take 2 hours to do this?
