Mine made it to Concord with the rest of the GTA shipment but the UPS site still hasn't update to show me a new scheduled delivery time (I'm downtown Toronto). I assume they will get around updating it to Monday sometime this afternoon...

I'm the same. I still have hope because there's no delivery time lol Hopefully Toronto may have extra trucks just for downtown that go later in the day?

After this who's going to pre-order an iPad 3? Cant say its top on my list.

Its after noon, they got to unload and sort this or These trucks, nothing is leaving Concord today.

I've got to wonder what the heck the point was of me pre-ordering my phone on Oct 7 when it appears now it won't be here till a week or two from now. A bit confused on what Apple's priorities are re: order fulfillment.

One piece of solace is that our American friends whom Apple seems to have assured that they get theirs on launch day are having issues activating them. So hopefully by Monday there only will be us Eastern Canadians left to activate them and it will go smoothly

Has anyone actually been to any of the Apple stores? I was hoping to pick up an unlocked iPhone 4S (Black 32GB) later today, but I don't know if that's wishful thinking. I've been calling various stores in the Toronto area, but I can't get through to any of them.

Based on these shipment estimates, I wouldn't be surprised if it was faster to grab the phone in person as opposed to pre-ordering it.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

Yeah, I guess I'll give Apple a call. I blame them, not UPS.

Worst of all is I'm at York University right now, yeah, across the effing from UPS in Concord/Thornhill/Whatever you want to call it.

I should've received my 16GB Black iPhone 4S this morning from Telus but because they chose to ship with Purolator I didn't. I was tracking the package early this morning but apparently since I didn't provide a buzzer code (they never asked, required or left a spot to fill this info) they sent it back to the warehouse and didn't even bother delivering it. My condo has a concierge service instead of buzzers so even then they don't have a legitimate claim. I'm filing a complaint with the company and I strongly recommend that people do not use their service. Especially if you live in a condo or apartment building.

I'm in line at an Apple Store as I write this, and have been in line since midnight. They cut off the line 5 people after me. Probably about 600 people in total through the store before me, thanks to no security and a major line jumping problem.

Bottom line is that if you are hoping to stroll into an Apple store this afternoon for a phone, you're dreaming

Based on my previous experience, you will be at the end of a long queue and probably won't get anything when you are get in the store.

So I caved, and got a 32 White in store (as opposed to the 16 White I ordered).

Stoked right now. Gotta return the other once I get it and alleviate my credit limit.

I just couldn't wait until Monday. :p

Glad to see you got one, Did you get it from an Apple store or one of the carriers?

Coworker's black 32GB has been delivered in downtown Vancouver.

My White 64GB still on plane from Hong Kong, estimated delivery of Thursday (!!!!!). Grrr.

I think our phones are on the same flight to Alaska. How did you come up with estimated delivery of Thursday? I can't find that information any where on my tracking info.

If UPS is working this weekend, I'm guessing I'll have my phone delivered (to Halifax) by Monday or Tuesday. If not, Wednesday or Thursday for me. Since you're in Vancouver...you should have your's on Monday. Right?

For those of you who have been to Apple stores in the Toronto area, do you think they will have stock of the iPhone 4S this weekend? I'm interested in the 32GB model in Black, but I don't know if I should just wait until next week instead.

Its funny it takes 1 day for a phone to get from China to Mount Hope, yet it takes 4 days to go 50km from Mount Hope.
