I thought the same thing, just looked it up. I get the feeling our phones might be on this flight, I guess we'll know shortly.

Why would they go from Illinois to Phoenix when the other phones yesterday went straight from Ontario, California to Richmond?
Well the bright side of this pre-order fiasco is that the servers shouldn't be as busy as on Friday so hopefully the activations will go smoothly.
Yeah I activated 4 4Ss for customers today at work...the activation process, particularly the part where it asks you to sign into your Apple ID, took longer I thought would be normal. Most of them had to just skip that step and then log in later.
Is there someone we can call to figure this out? ... It's just been sitting in Illinois for the whole day almost? I thought it woulda been going to straight to richmond.. ugh this is getting too confusing ==
Had to laugh on thursday in prep for my 4S I went to Rogers to pick up a micro sim. Of course they give me a hassle,"tomorrows launch day and we only have a limited number, you'll have to come back after and see if we have any blah blah blah". I said whatever I'll go to Apple. I goto the new Waterloo store and one of the staff asks if they can help me. I explain what I need cause I'm expecting the 4S tomorrow, he say no problem and goes to get it. I wait chatting with his supervisor about the new phone and the stores first big product launch. He comes back scans the sim and hands it to me. They give it to me free. Rogers charged me $0.75 for the micro sim for my iPad. I pay Rogers $400 + a month and they nickel and dime me what a douche bag organization.
Could be a flight just going around and picking up expedited packages, Saturdays are pretty quiet not as busy so fewer flights.
That's about what we pay per month. I think I can shave $100 or more by switching to Bell. I'm gonna try to get a quote from Bell first and see if Roger's retention department will match it.
You could call UPS, but as others have mentioned in the thread, they usually don't have much more information than we do. I figure it's one of two things...
1) The tracking is not accurate (which has happened before with UPS and FedEx tracking).
or
2) Since it's the weekend, they don't run the same flights or routes for packages, which might explain the detour.
Guelph on Woodlawn, its an independent one not a company store. I've bought 4 iPhones off them too (3, 3G, 2x3GS). I wanted an unlocked one as I travel. It's funny it's really hit and miss who you deal with.
I bought an iPad in Michigan, when I came back went to get 3G service for it, the women on the phone told me the plans and I chose the Flex Plan. So it working, the next day it stops, I call and start the run around. First I'm told that it not eligable because I didn't buy it from Rogers (they weren't selling them at the time but hey). Then they they say cause I didn't buy it in Canada, ok what ever. I then go with prepaid service so get to the end of the month and it should renew, surprise , it doesn't so I call and blah, blah . So then the fis is for me to re -enter a new prepaid plan each month, in the mean time iOS 4 comes out and I can tether to my iPad, so in the end there inability to bill properly lead to me saving $35/month. Then I come across a guy who says he specializes in iPad support and he say it's no problem to add any iPad from North America to the Flex Plan. But hey my 6GB iPhone plan more than covers both devices.
Even with all that Rogers service is heads above my experiences with Bell.
Oh see that's where you went wrong lol. I work at the one on Edinburgh and Stone. The Rogers Plus. Rogers Wireless stores are all franchise, where as the Plus stores are all corporate.
The best Rogers Store was the one that use to be on Victoria St. in Kitchener, which is a restaurant now. It was huge thats was still in the days when people had cell phones installed in their cars so they even had installers there.
I used the one on Woodlawn for launch day purchases cause its out of the way and as long as you were there around 5 am you got a phone. Yours and the one in the Mall attract all the kids from the U of G.
The one in the mall use to have a guy that worked there and he was the most helpful and actually knowledgable guy. He even got my Moto Razr unlocked for me before I went to Germany and Austria.I need to do is log in to my account and change the sim?

Oh man, we get so many complaints now from the guys in the mall. Literally multiple times a day we'll have people complaining about how they were rude or didn't help them so they got sent to our store.
Our store is super busy during the school year, but other than September and April it isn't busy with actual students, it's just naturally busy for everybody it seems. And with Blockbuster closing down Edinburgh and Kortright, the video side of the store is at least twice as busy now.
That was a long time ago in the Mall that store is pretty much useless.
You guys are the last video rental store in town I think.
There's still one on Willow. But yeah rentals are definitely dying out.
Anywho, does your order have an actual delivery date? Because since mine departed Concord, the delivery date isn't there anymore, but it was Monday by 12.
My date left when it went on the two day drive from Concord. Mine said Monday 17th but no time but WW Express is suppose to be before noon.

Yeah the Yahoo tracking says "In Transit to Kitchener" and that was from last night, so you're probably right it's just sitting at a depot. One day almost down...one to go...
That would make sense.. I was hoping they would be in Richmond today so we could get them on monday! Hopefully this doesn't make the process even longer.. It's been sitting in Illinois for a whole day now, wonder what it's doing there lol

mines been at concord ontario since friday but just recently the delivery date disappeared, i will be royally pissed if i dont get on monday...seriously what was the point of a pre order when i could of just gotten from a store easily.
