Order status for Canada?

Who knows, my company shipped a engine over night under warranty, cost big bucks too. Three days later customer calls still hasn't got it. I look at the tracking it was in Morroco, it was being shipped from Guelph to South Carolina. I called the shipping company and asked her where it was, I could hear her looking it up, it was just silent she didn't want to tell me, I told her I already knew where it was. I said I take it your refunding our shipping, she started to refuse, the manger credited us.

My phone has made it state side. I think it's on ups63 landing in KY in about 10 min.

I suppose it'll get to Ontario this weekend and be sorted and wait on a truck until Monday. :/

Because we missed the trucks to our local depots. So they sent everything else to Concord (a main UPS distribution point) where they were then loaded up onto the night trucks so that they wer not sitting in MT Hope where they do not have a lot of storage room.

This is all hypothetical of course, but it makes sense. To me at least 😉

Apparently it was leaving China half an hour late that Messed up our scheduled deliveries, I suppose after that they're just taking their time. UPS movements always seem illogical (leaving Hamilton for Concord and back again, which I've never had happen) but I suppose they have their reasons.

Also, for those of us who just got our phones shipped this morning - I understand that our delivery date is set as Tuesday... but for "World Wide Express" shipping doesn't it entail next business day shipping for Canadians? Wouldn't that mean we would receive them on Monday?

They do, but it comes at a premium - I've got a feeling Apple wouldn't pay that premium, since it seems a bit... expensive for them, with minimum gain. 98% of the people preordering wouldn't have a problem with receiving it on Monday, after all.

From Anchorage they seem to go to Louisville for east coast and Ontario California for west coast.
The Ont. CA. flight goes to Seattle. Then there seems to be a plane and airport change in Washington before the shipment moves on to Vancouver.

I haven't seen a direct UPS flight from Anchorage to BC. I'm surprised by that. I think that'd save a fair bit of gas on a BC bound package.

To follow your flights use the following, and just narrow the operators on the left to just UPS so you don't have to hunt through all the flights from various airways.

Hong Kong to Anchorage

Anchorage to Ontario CA

Ontario to Seattle


Boeing Intl in Washington to Vancouver

Surprisingly the Vancouver flight doesn't seem to come out of Tacoma, but rather from Boeing.

While finding the path to Vancouver I looked up my probable flight into Toronto. Looks like it'll be here within the next 3 hours.

If expedited shipping does me any good at all, it'll get here today. I'm crossing fingers but also not getting my hopes up. No ETA on delivery in the tracking info yet.

Somewhat annoyingly my sister's phone got here yesterday morning. She pre-ordered from Bell mid day on the 7th, well after I ordered from Apple.

Last ETA was Monday before 12:00.

No ETA showing now, left Concord @ 8:12 in transit to Ottawa...

We'll get it Monday by 12. Concord is the main UPS hub for Ontario and from there it gets sent off.

Well so much for that supervisors story that they wont be delivered till tuesday cause the bulk shipment is being broken down and they wont do it till Monday, seems like its broken down enough to send some to Ottawa and Montreal.

He probably didn't check the tracking closely enough or it wasn't showing at the time. Only once it reaches Concord it gets broken up and sent down locally, that's where it all happens.

I get 100's of parcels a year, none have ever went to Concord for distribution. Concord is a distribution center mainly for Toronto, it's not a " main hub " for Ontario. The main hub is actually Mount Hope as that's where all their flights come into. From there they go to the individual distribution centers, south western Ontario ones usually got to Kitchener, London or, Windsor.

Read the actual tracking page, it says on there that the telephone agents have no more information than what is shown online. The Agents just say random crap to get the irratating people off the line. Hence even when something is lost the telephone agent can't help you they actually just send it off to another department. There's mainly examples in all these threads where people were told blatantly wrong information which it was obviously wrong even when they were told it.

So for those of you in the same batch as me (the one that left Ontario, California earlier this morning), what is your tracking saying now? The Yahoo tracker said earlier this morning that my package was on a flight to Richmond, BC (which was the same path my coworker's package took yesterday morning). Except now I just got an arrival scan in Rockford, Illinois! WTF!?
