I also can't view order status. Hopefully by time it comes back up it will say dispatched :D

Its just Maintanence. I logged on to the support file (just incase a watch had been added by apple there) and got the message saying its maintenance.

Ive created my own nightmare I spent days before pre order selling the watch to myself I didn't want to fork out loads of money as I never wear a watch and I work on a lot of building sites so couldn't justify the cost of the SS plus what will they do in terms of the new realise cycle only Tim could know..... So I thought I had cracked it

I didn't book an appointment as didn't want to talk myself into the SS model and My thought process was to order a 42mm SG sports with black band to use for a year to see how much I use it and if it gets knocked about on site at least I didn't shell out a small fortune and save up to get a 2nd Gen SS upon realise.

So I got the email at 08:16 with a delivery date of 12 May, 2015 - 26 May which already had me on the edge of my seat waiting and getting impatient but looking forward to my new toy...........

Then it all went wrong! :(

To cut a long story short was in town minding my own business with my other half walked into the apple store to have a browse as you do and ended up walking out with orders for a 42mm SS Milanese AND a 42MM SS black sports for the other half to be dispatched in June....DAMN YOU APPLE :p
 
They will be back online around lunchtime and our statuses will still be the same I bet :(

I agree with everyone here its planned maintenance we had this last Sunday where everyone got excited but no changes... likely to be the same story here :rolleyes:
 
At the moment I can access the support profile without an issue and no watch assigned to this at this current time :)
 
Been watching my favourite Tech guys on YouTube last few hours with their unboxings and reviews. Making me even more crazy that I don't have my watch!!! At the same time it's making me excited for when we finally get our hands on the thing.
 
As much as I want it to be, I don't think it's usual for the orders page to go down completely just for a status update :(
 
With every day I start to lose confidence in Apple delivering in the window.

Even the states most places are still waiting for their order to change from processing if they had a time of xx:03. New York, Chicago and most others have not seen a change.

Therefore suspect that we will not see much for a while and maybe even outside the window.

If it is outside the window, it is worth asking apple to provide compensation as they have breached the terms of the contract. They will say dates are only estimates but a lawyer friend says the EOD is a stays update that confirms delivery in the window. My suggestion is instead of taking an iTunes credit we say to Apple to deliver the whole price we pay to the relief effort in Nepal. If they do not do it they look crappy after all they are making billions from this. Also make us look a lot better than trying to grab money from them.
 
Keep the faith guys and keep the tread going. Making a promise to keep returning until every last one of us has our watches! Lol
 
They're not obliged to, but they could do considering the high quality of customer service they say they are meant to provide.

There do seem to be two camps on this one. I personally don't think that giving us a delivery window and then not telling us what might be going on in the backend that might influence when in that window something might arrive is poor customer service.
 
The more I think about it, the better I like the idea of a 42mm SG Sport over a SS Classic Buckle.

Good time to switch or bad? Considering I might see movement any day now, but the SG will mean going to the back of the queue.

A lot of people are waiting for the Space Grey models, so you might be in for a very long wait if you go with that option.
