Agreed. Doesn't the bank holiday only apply to the UK

Hmmmmn! Sorry to pee on the campfires folks, but I thought I'd check and have to correct myself... It's a three day (Labour Day) holiday in China from Friday-Sunday!

I lived there for a couple of years and as far as I can remember it is one that is respected, and therefore taken as holiday.

I think we may have to wait and see on Tuesday...

Well...crap.

Which glances are you finding this on? The only one that is a bit slower than I'd like (recognising most are pulling data from your phone) is maps, which obviously needs location data too. Oh, and Dark Sky (which needs both), but I expect this will improve once the developers have played with a real watch now.

Yup I've got Dark Sky as well, pretty much just the two that you mention are a bit slow.

I think the problem is compounded by the poor 3G access I have most of the time. When I'm on wi-fi it is noticeably better.

I think when I get my replacement I'm going to disable all glances but the critical ones. I found it pointless having to scroll through a load that I don't need like stocks and calendars etc.

Well...crap.

'Still gives them time on Monday and not everything shuts, so still imagine the cargo planes will fly...

I'm passing the time by designing a portable watch charger/dock.

I travel around the world constantly and thought it's be cool to have a way to charge the watch without needing mains all the time.

With a 2000mAh Li-ion battery I should be able to recharge the watch around 8 times maybe more.

I'm just 3D printing the case now. If it works I'll upload a photo or two later.

Just think over the Bank Holiday weekend Apple may have had double the delivery of Apple watches into the UK

We might see a whole load of people changing from processing to being dispatched on Tuesday/Wed

Sorry but I'll not be holding my breath this time :(

Yes I saw that... mine looks very like it, except I cut the Charge cable to make it smaller, and mine is a rectangle rather than a circle. oh and I'm making mine now!

Do show once done. Have a printer I haven't fired up in a long time...

I'm in the Nottingham area too!i ordered the same model as you too, my order prepared and dispatched on Friday, 3 days after apple authorised the money out of my bank account. don't know if that helps

Personally, I think that there will be quite a big movement of watches on Tues/Weds next week. Or it could be Weds/Thurs, but pretty sure it will come before Fri.
Might be wrong though, so don't hold your breath.

Think I have given up all hope of the watch arriving early and have just resigned myself to the date they gave me at the start.
So roll on the 12th Of May, if it's after that tho I will be angry and dejected :(

Very much the same. If it's the case then clearly the supply is way too constrained and they should have pushed the "launch day" back by a couple of months. You can't have a launch day when so few will actually get it that day. At this rate those that are ordering now probably won't see anything until August.

Wonder if they will bring out a new watch next year, be odd because some won't even have had theirs 9 months due to supply constraints!

If they just said selected models were available on the 24th and listed them then I would've been fine with that.

I bought the link bracelet watch and then a white sport band separately. If I knew about the delays I would've bought the watch with the white band and ordered the link seperately
