That's exactly why I'm annoyed. I would have ordered the Stainless Steel and got the black sports band later. Instead I just got the Sports as I thought it'll be ok. Now I don't want to get the stainless steel because of the delays. I'm sure I'll be more than happy with the sport but yes it is disheartening that we didn't get on launch day (which you kind of expect when being in the first 15 minutes of pre orders, two weeks before launch day). At this rate I probably won't get mine until the third week of May.

Really don't understand them having no link bracelets or modern buckles etc at all, they were supposed to be available April 24th but not a single person will get one till the 12th of May it looks like. Madness
 
I got some news for you guys. Apple had a £1 hold on my account since the order was done on the 10th April and was still here at 11am. It's now gone.. I don't know if this is good news, bad news or no news. Anyone can shine light on this?
 
Isn't the £1 just an account check that the account is yours?

That £1 is returned after a certain period, sometimes it hasn't even been taken

It is just Apple verifying your CC. They did it on mine and it disappeared after about five days.

Oh... Mine was there since the 10th April when I done the order. It even wrote '* Final charged amount may change for certain transactions including Fuel, Lodging and Internet purchases.'.

I think there is a huge chance that come 4PM Tuesday, we will all be laughing our socks off.
 
Finally went for a try on appointment and it's completely thrown me! I want the brown modern the pink modern and the Milanese loop!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!

I had a try on appointment the other week and it completely changed my mind too! I originally wanted the classic buckle but hated it when I tried it on! That one really looks good on you! What size is it?
 
Oh its a "meh" day of processing today... I placed an order for something on Amazon this morning and it's going to be delivered tomorrow. If only Apple carried on working at the weekend... I know they're in a better position for deliveries with the hubs they have... but still!!!!!

Totally agree I think that there will be a lot of dispatching Tues/Weds or We'd/Thurs.

Holding you to that. I caved and went to try one on again today to try and tide me over.
 
The Apple UK online store now states 'July' for all new orders of any SS 42mm...Just checked my order status and it still says 'June' so that's a relief....kind of.

Originally ordered a SS SB on the 10/4 (evening) with an ETA of 'July' - couldn't really wait that long so cancelled it on the 24/4 and ordered a 42mm SS ML instead.

Does anyone have any predictions when orders showing as Processing > Dispatched: June will change to something more specific?

My new order states a delivery (38mm ss classic buckle) in 2 to 3 weeks.
Forgot about the bank holiday (I live in the Netherlands, but ship it to a collegue in London).
Was hoping my creditcard would be charged this weekend, guess due to bank holiday this won't happen.
I just need to be patient for a couple of more days, although the ss 38mm should be delivered quickly (not the reason for switching from the sg42sport, just wanted a smaller watch with sapphire glass)

Has anyone seen any movement on their UK orders this weekend?
 
Just a heads up ... Barclays have informed apple that there is no financing for Apple watch .... I've spoke to apple who have said they told them last week, however the status of any apple watch order that was put through this process will be decided Tuesday
 
I'm thinking of returning my 42mm SS WSB.

Someone suggested I sell it instead. That sounds like a lot of hassle, to be honest.

But I could be tempted . . .

Thank you! They're all 38 mm as that's what I've ordered and I tried the modern buckles in large and small but I know and ordered the medium which will be perfect for me. I love the Milanese loop help!

But actually this afternoon have reverted to my right wrist with the crown on bottom left!
I love, and am impressed, these options are available!
 
Slightly odd: my blue band, sport that was dispatched on Fri with a delivery date of Tues is now saying 1 July delivery and not showing up on UKMail, despite saying it was at the delivery destination yesterday. Hopefully it's just their database has fallen over as it's a Sunday rather than there actually being a problem.

Hi,

My SG BSB 42 was dispatched Friday as well. Yesterday UK mail website stated a delay and put back the delivery from the 5th to the 6th.

Now the UK Mail site isn't updating with the original tracking number (14 digits).

The Apple website now shows a 10 digit tracking number which doesn't work with UK Mail site.

I hope its the site thats crashed :-/
