I've been watching this thread for some time now. Much as I (REALLY) want my watch, I can't help but be surprised by some peoples impatience. On one hand, I understand the level of frustration felt by customers who expect a certain level of service from a vendor but for ****** sake. There's worse things going off in the world than a few weeks wait for a gadget that will be out of date in less time that some poor souls have to live. Get real people.
(PS, No I'm not a hippie, just a bit drunk).

Agree with you but no one here is saying this is the worst thing in the world. We are really looking forward to our watches and we just haven't seen this kind of thing in an Apple launch before. That doesn't mean we think it's more important than other things...just that it's not normal for Apple.

Just a heads up ... Barclays have informed apple that there is no financing for Apple watch .... I've spoke to apple who have said they told them last week, however the status of any apple watch order that was put through this process will be decided Tuesday

Seriously

I still think people shouldn't buy something like this on finance seems nuts!

----------

But if it means orders get cancelled and mine comes sooner I'm all for it lol

Depends on personal circumstances I had a grand in the bank paid of a loan amounting to 80 quid a month and replaced it with financing amounting to 28 a month which would be paid in full within 6 months

As it goes if they can my order I will use my cc which many people seem to have used so u won't be getting mine and if for some reason yours is delayed it would be karma

No, I get it. That's the problem I reckon. In general, I feel the same as everyone on here. Just sometimes I realise my own level of hypocrisy.

Don't worry we are all in the same boat heading to island apple watch. I also think it's ridiculously sad that we are all flaffing about for it but we are just happy geeks that want to get our paws on the latest apple device and see how it will serve us. It's all excitement and the only burst of depression is come 4PM Tuesday and it's still stuck on processing.

Plus it's bank holiday, we are all relaxing (I hope)!

Hello all

Hi all, long time lurker, first time poster! This thread has been really really helpful, been following since my pre-order on the 10th. Here's my details:

42mm SG sport BSB
ordered 10th April
email confirmation 08:05:09am
No EOD 1 or 2
Original delivery estimate 12th - 26th May
Card charged Thursday 30th
Preparing to Ship & Dispatched on Friday 1st
Esd Delivery 5th May by UPS

(spreadsheet updated already)

For those of you still waiting, hang in there! fully understand the perils of processing purgatory! Have been reading all kinds of threads on x-glass vs sapphire, problems with this and problems with that but to be honest am just so relieved it's shipped! As soon as it arrives i'll post an update.

As a long time Apple fan and early adopter of the iPhone from 1st gen launch day, can honestly say i feel let down by apples strategy on the watch, really thought that ordering the watch on the 10th at 8am i would receive it on the 24th, 'as promised'. Hope they learn lessons from this launch...
Just wanted to say thanks to you all for all your info and advice! :)

The cancel comment was a joke get off your high horse! I used to have money issues with buying things I couldn't afford many years ago fortunately I had a massive turn around and can buy what I want outright so i have experience of the bad side of finance and allowed an opinion! We have a laugh here if you don't like it maybe this forum is not for you .... Geeeez some people

My friend got his watch today. He was kind enough to send me the picture of it. Now I'm super excited... :p lol

So, who thinks we will see any movement today? I know the couriers are off for the bank holiday, so there won't be any collections, but who's to say Apple won't still be processing payments and preparing orders for the couriers to collect tomorrow?

Here's hoping!

Doubt it. The UK grinds to a halt on bank holidays. If we see movement today then it'll be around 4pm but I'm certainly not holding my breath. I think tomorrow is going to be a great day though. Lots of movement.

As a reminder, anyone on the spreadsheet who's status changes please select the cell that needs changing and add a new comment onto the spreadsheet (or use the User Notes sheet). When lots of you ask us to update it by commenting on the forums it's hard to keep up :D

Agreed on tomorrow. I don't think we will get anything new today but tomorrow all of the 12-26 group will get status changes/charges and then there might be hope of us just after still getting it that week but probably a couple of weeks after.

Has the status wording changed or am I going slightly mad?

I was sure it read something else but it now reads 'Available to Ship: June'

I was sure it stated something else lol

If they just said selected models were available on the 24th and listed them then I would've been fine with that.

I bought the link bracelet watch and then a white sport band separately. If I knew about the delays I would've bought the watch with the white band and ordered the link seperately

Same here except I've ordered the SB link and WSB

Just found this forum, got my confirmation email at 08:05 and got my dispatch email late on Friday. Following the tracking with UKmail my watch reached Lincoln depot at just before midday Saturday. Hoping for a delivery on Tuesday, but due the bank holiday back log I am not holding my breath to get my watch until Wed or Thurs. Not too fussed as I have waited this long. Every time I have anything delivered by UKmail, I have had to collect so I may not get mine til Sat morning.

42mm SG BSB.

Somebody else has ordered me a watch (won't tell me which model) and says the order was timed 8:30.

Apparently I'm in week 12-24th may (something like that)

Any chance of shipping early?

I am surprised they didn't get a June delivery date ordering at 08:30. All depends on if shipments have been arriving in the UK over the bank holiday to clear orders sub :10 . If Apple are stating 12th to 24th then I would think that would be about right for an :30 order. It's the 5th tomorrow already! Tue / Wed will be very interesting.

im an 18 something order and still got the 12 -26 May

Must admit I was a little disappointed with the sport SG compared to a SS at a try on appointment, however I already had a pre order for a sport SG and have to keep reminding myself that this is gen 1 and that the actual internals of the watches are all the same. I'm not willing to drop a grand until gen 2 once they have ironed out any problems.

Sport plus a third party SG SS link bracelet for gen 1 for me.

I can see the UK getting Apple pay by the end of the year.... then I can imagine we can all pay with our watches at anywhere that has NFC terminals?

Is your watch stuck at UKmail Lincoln also?
