Order Thread for UK (BST)

I only ordered mine a couple of days ago but I haven't received any confirmation email. Is that normal? It says Processing on the order page with an estimated delivery of July.

It all depends on which model you ordered. My order was at 08.24. I got a 24/4-5/8 delivery date and my watch arrived on launch day (24th April).

Hmm check your junk/spam folders? A lot of us got confirmation within a minute or two of ordering so not sure if it indicates a problem. I doubt it but you might want to just chat to apple quick to double check.

Yes you should have received a confirmation immediately. I also just ordered a couple of days ago with a July delivery date. Although hoping it will come forward to June. :)
 
Will we get a delivery window of when to expect the watch tomorrow or do we just have to wait at home all day?
Also, how do you know where the watch is being held? Mine just says at delivery location.
 
Mine just says at delivery location also, which I have assumed is my nearest UKmail depot. For me this is Lincoln, however this is still over an hours drive away.

My experience with UKmail for Apple orders in the past hasn't been good. I doubt I will receive my watch tomorrow, hoping for a Wed or Thurs delivery.

They don't give timed delivery or give you an email or text giving a rough time...... unlike DPD and FedEx who give you decent updates on packages, text alerts etc.

Could be worse though, it could be Yodel delivering...... my last Amazon Yodel order was literary thrown over my garden wall, straight onto concrete and left to get drenched in the rain! At least UKmail won't destroy our watches.
 
Dover street market

Hi all,

Just an update. Dover street market is not taking any appointments today,
They also only have the 38mm in stock for anyone who has an appointment.


I wanted to ask you all for feedback,

I have bought a 42mm leather loop which is still processing...12-26may delivery.

Was thinking of getting a 38mm as my exercise watch...gym, football and any other strenuous activity.leavig my 42mm as my daily watch for non activities.

Thinking of buying a 38mm sport today and using that primarily as a sports watch and leave the 42mm as an accessory instead. What do you guys think?

What's the syncing process for multiple watches would I have to continuously add and then remove watches or can I have them both paired with my phone to work simultaneously?

I don't think I can wait until July for my watch. Not heard of Dover street market. What is the deal? How likely is it I will get a watch in SS?

You can only pair one iPhone with one Apple Watch. If you want to pair with a second Apple Watch, you need to unpair the first watch and then pair again with the second watch.

Each time you unpair the watch a backup will be made to preserve its state.

If you click 'Collect from depot' it will show you which one it's at :)
 
Didn't think of clicking collect from depot! Mine is at the depot I thought, although it only gives me the option of collecting from Wednesday onwards and not collecting tomorrow!!? Everyone else the same?

I'm getting that - although (and I don't know this for definite - only from bits I've read on here), don't they have to have attempted a delivery before you can collect from the depot? That would explain why you can only collect from Wednesday onwards, if they're attempting a delivery to your address tomorrow.

Luckily I'd booked the extra day off work a while back to extend the Bank Holiday weekend, so I guess that's my day taken care of :)
 
That would make sense. I can stay in tomorrow until around 14:30 then have to go out and as my delivery depot is over an hour away I can imagine I will be one of the last in the day, so if mine does go out for delivery tomorrow I will prob miss them. Although all UKmail deliveries I have had in the past generally arrive either the day after they are suppose to or in the case of apple ones I have to go to collect. Others don't seem to have this problem, so guess it's down to me being so far away from the UKmail depot.

Hope everyone gets their watches as planned tomorrow.

My Pebble just got into an infinite recovery loop.
(recovery screen->reconnect BT->updating watch->connected->recovery screen)

I need my apple watch ASAP! :) Guess will be using an old fashion watch next week(s)
 
On the Apple site, it says that my order is "In Transit to customer - Shipment Delayed" all of a sudden, and the expected delivery date has gone back a day to Wednesday - anyone else had this?

Also trying to track my parcel on the UKMail site no longer works, even though it did yesterday!! Just says "No results found" when I put in my tracking ref??

That's strange. I can still track mine on the UK Mail website and it says at sortation facility. On the Apple Store it says dispatched and still expected for tomorrow Tuesday.

Thankfully UKMail is still showing 5 May. Phew.

Mines doing the same, on the UKMail site is says expected delivery for the 5th but it also says delayed... :(
 
Had a little bit of fun and games with UKMail, but got there in the end on Saturday. Have to say, definitely worth the wait...
