I just need to know do I cancel my order or not, as this 14th gave me an email and my 12th no sound at all....

I would wait, hard to predict whats going to happen. You could cancel 1 and still wait ages. Leave enough in your account to cover the cost of 1, when payment is taken and the status changes then cancel the other. Or buy both and sell 1 to a fellow forum user. Preferably at cost.

im curious to see to who is the EOD3 relevant.

08:11 10/4 confirmation email 42 SG and got no email or change of dates. it still says 4-6 weeks and 12/5-26/5.

anyone close to this?

I got the email and it was for my order which I placed on monday 4th for a 38 SS BCB which went from 2-4 weeks rapidly now to a 1-2 weeks

This was NOT my original order

You are quoting a computerworld.com article which is pure guesswork by analysts!

In real world testing I can confirm that when the iPhone does not have a wifi connection (i.e. wifi is turned on but the iPhone is out of range of a wifi network) the watch and iPhone communicate via Bluetooth. If the Bluetooth connection in turn is lost the watch can no longer use the iPhones cellular connection to communicate with the outside world. It does not create a peer-to-peer network in this instance which is the advice you gave earlier.

Conversely, if the watch and the iPhone are both connected to the same 2.4 GHz wifi network the watch continues to function even when the iPhone is turned off. It can also make/receive calls when out of bluetooth range.

TL;DR In order for the watch to use wifi both watch and iPhone need to be connected to the same 2.4GHz network.

I think all the 38mm people have had their dates pushed 1-2 weeks earlier.

Ive just checked the Apple store app and majority of the 38mm are now showing 1-2 weeks.

I think 38mm is either less popular or Apple have produced a lot more of these models so suppy is not constrained.

The 42mm are all showing July so they are still way behind on these.

I ordered my 42mm SG BSB on 17th April and if apple have only hit 8:05 at moment therefore by time i get mine, Apple will have announced the Apple Watch 2 lol

My extra 42 GSB was dispatched earlier with a delivery date of the 11/5??

I know what you mean, i ordered on the 11th and am just stuck in processing hell with June as date showing of despatch, if we still at 8.05 then ill probably be july, surprised apple so under estimated demand

Yes I also ordered 42mm space grey sport with confirmation at 8:07 and still nothing- no emails, no change of status. Still may 12th-26th...
 
We will get them. Don't lose hope!

Let's all take a breather tonight. Lets come up with a nice little shorthand acronym...

Hey labour or conservative should come out and promise the readers of this forum they will get there watches despatched! They would get my vote haha
