I really don't understand a word of that, but it doesn't sound pleasant for the boy Turner. :p

Bye weeks are biting at Meff Park meanwhile, and amongst those sitting out this week is club captain Big Vern. I've no hesitation in giving the armband to my first round pick Drew Brees though, who has been in very pleasing form. Equally pleasing is the way Drew has settled into life here in Yorkshire, even eschewing the traditional helmet for a flat cap...

...and adopting a whippet. He can often be found on rest days taking long walks in the Wolds with his doggy pal Vicky, named for fellow quarter back (and noted dog enthusiast) Michael Vick.

Well done, Drew.

Anyway, hopefully one chap who'll be enjoying life a little less this week is ECUpirate44 whose Steve's Cupertino Kids provide the opposition this week. His record stands at 1-5 and his team have struggled at times, so clearly this is going to be a home banker for him. :D

Aye, my team is broken. Reports suggest Graham will be out for the rest of the season with a torn achilles, Moss will miss multiple weeks with a broken hand, Lynch has a dodgy back, Wells has a poorly knee, Thomas is being troubled by a problem hamstring, Massaquoi has concussion, Austin dosn't look up to speed following his recent hamstring injury, and I daren't ask Matron how the rest are faring.

I might have to organise a trade. Maybe swap them for an ice hockey team or something. :p
 
On your 'My Team' page, there should be a 'Pending Moves' bar – click on that and it'll list the moves you have lined up.

Meanwhile, I note that your Boozehounds are playing my Meffs this week. I wouldn't worry yourself unduly about this particular fixture, my lot are bloody useless. :p

I don't really think it'll make any difference, to be honest. ;)

The last time I saw our shadowy team owner Lord Meff, he was heading towards the bookies with a large wad of cash muttering 'Boozehounds... Boozehounds...' to himself. Clearly he doesn't rate us that much either. :p
