It seems that my MBP just left Shanghai, the delivery status went from NATURAL DISASTER to PACKAGE DATA PROCESSED BY BROKERAGE. WAITING FOR CLEARANCE / RELEASED BY CLEARING AGENCY. NOW IN-TRANSIT FOR DELIVERY.

No, sadly this just means that your shipping information (which is provided electronicaly) has been processed in Cologne. The real deal (the package) is still at the exact same spot in Shanghai with a couple more MBPs.
regional items will be things like the manual, any warning documents for your country, (the keyboard?! - but I doubt it).

Im sorry, but that does not mean your package left Shanghai. It just means the papers have been sent electronically to Cologne... We are all in the same situation. For all we know our MBP's are still in Shanghai.
Same here. Looks like they have stock of some models ready to ship in the UK.
Mine should be here today at some point.

They probably add items like the adapaters + anything else you've added at this point.
I ordered applecare with my CTO MBP
Other than that thats it. Thanks for the info though.My order is now showing that my new CTO will be delivered by April 27th but my AppleCare will be delivered by May 4th Until today both said delivered by May 4th

So I just spoke to UPS...
The delivery's are stuck in China (as we thought)
They will not be leaving until UK/EU airspace re-opens.
They hope this will be today but they know about as much as we do at this point..
When the Airspace re-opens shipments will be dispatched from China the same day or the following day, dependent on backlog.
There may also be a delay in delivery within the UK of 1-2 days.
Its looking like next week now in my opinion....

So much for bringing shipments into European countries with open airspace and distributing via road (their statement on their website).
The only problem with this comment from UPS is that its all dependant on where your MPB was at the time.
If anyone has any movements or any info/comments it maybe an idea if you we put what date it was shipped and if it was by UPS or if it going to be TNT just so others watching the forums may get some sort of idea whats happening rather than everyone asking the same thing
This is true actually. It seems that items that were scanned at origin over the weekend stayed that way a long time, suggesting they are being held back in China, whereas items from last week seem to be at the airport. I guess these are the items they may try and move by other means?

Interesting they said they are waiting for UK airspace to be open. Does that tracking not suggest it is going to Germany first? Sometimes it feels as if the UPS staff no **** all and make it up as they go along based on how they read the tracking?!
Mine has shipped straight from Leicestershire apparently. Ordered late on Saturday and it was picked up from Leicestershire yesterday.
Should be out for delivery today but looks like that may have been scr3wed up by UPS.
I have just had a call back from Apple regarding my CTO which shipped on the 16/4.
I noticed that my status update changed today and they have called me back to say that I will get my CTO on the 27th. My update shows the 26th with shipment on schedule. I was told that this is the date they have been informed it will go into the UK DC and the date it would next update my tracking unless something changes in the mean time.. it would then be sent out next day and a full tracking number issued.
The american lady also went on to say that they are using several methods to get customers their new orders, but it is dependant on the location of your order when flights got stopped.
Like many I will not really believe it until I see it.... but it seems some movement is happening

Apple quoted 27/28th when i ordered (16th). Then when it was dispatched i was told 19th by both apple and UPS. Apple still say 19th (yesterday) and UPS saying 22nd.
I think the worst part of waiting is not knowing when it will arrive, if ever. What if the volcano keeps shooting out more and more ash for weeks and weeks? then what will they do? I know i should be thanksful, its only a new laptop, and i could be stuck in a foreign country, but still, i just want my laptop!
