ANC is Anchorage? Just doesn't seem right... I agree with your observation that if they were in fact going via Incheon they would most likely be stranded there... Also, one of the Danish guys posted a screenshot in the 'Is your MBP shipped yet' thread and it clearly showed that the last time he ordered (iMac 27") a month ago, it went from Shanghai to Cologne and then onwards from there, i am pretty positive thats the same route ours is taken - the other stuff just doesnt make any sense...

Yes, that was me... I posted it here as well, but here we go again... Please notice that they - as previously stated - do go via Incheon, Korea:)

Oh hum

Hey peeps, first post!

Ordered my MBP 2.66 15" hi res 15 mins after the shop reopened last Tuesday. Finally shipped on the 16th, but no appears to be stuck in Shangai, you gotta hate that big old volcano.

Just had to start spitting when our macbooks where ready to show their faces.

Got a delivery date stated as 27th April, but i dont hold much hope.

Does anybody know how that delivery fiasco affects the warrenty ? Apple states my normal warrenty ends on Apr. 17th 2011. Since there is quite a delay I don't really like the sound of that.

Warranty runs from the date of purchase... The delay is our problem, not Apple's (unfortunately)

I was wondering that too. I'm hoping Apple will show some goodwill and give those of us waiting a few more days warranty. I know they don't have to but as I said hopefully they'll do it out of goodwill.

Lets hope

Yeah lets hope they show some good will on this one, my i7 better be in top notch condition when it arrives! Dont want any more messing when it gets here. Strange that i had a huge delay in delivery when i ordered my original Ipod touch too.

Just got this from UPS re my base 13"MBP... Seems they haven't really got a clue, understandably.

Dear Richard,

Thank you for your enquiry,

Unfortunately due to UK (and European) airspace currently being closed any shipments bound for the UK have either not yet left their Shipping countries or are stuck in the countries they previously reached in transit to the UK,

As it stands we are unaware of when this situation is likely to change,

I can only advise that you continue to track the progress of the shipment on-line at www.ups.com,

Kind Regards

Peter Jackson

Whatever you say about whether UPS should have been flying around the problem. one thing you CAN say is their tracking and their communication is appalling. It seems they are happy to just sit on our stuff until this all blows over, after all "it's not their fault", they have a volcano to blame.

has anyone in Sweden/Norway recieved their order?

Still waiting in Norway. Ordered the base 13" on 13th april. Shipped with TNT 17th april. Its now stuck in China...

Oh MacBook Pro
I need you so
You're stuck so far away
But I can't wait another day

Can't you get here any faster?
All UPS says is, 'Natural Disaster' ...
