Still waiting here, ordered 13th at 1730, shipped 17th, still no info. I know people have been complaining about UPS tracking but at least they have SOME information. Called Apple a couple of times, one guy said that the laptop had left China and the other said they had no idea where it is until it reaches a UK DC. What an appalling way to ship expensive items:confused::confused:
 
My order just changed status from "not yet shipped" to "prepared for shipment"! My order was placed on the 14th btw, so it took a while for them to "produce" my 15" CTO.

The worst thing is that I can't even track my damn order, because it'll merge in transit in NL and obviously it hasn't arrived there until now.
On the apple.com site it says that mine is shipped by Kuhne & Nagel. Does anyone know here how I could track their deliveries?

Same here. No tracking, 'Merge in Tnst NL', carrier details to be updated soon.
 
I have got no tracking numbers either shipped on 17th with apple care ordered on 14th.

But itdoes have the date of the 26th on the apple part of the site. I hope it is monday I get it.

Where do they merge the orders? And why dont they provide seperate numbers for each part and delivary them seperatly.
 
I ordered on April 14th, 15" CTO and a sleeve.
For the MBP it says shipped on April 17th, Delivers 5th May. I have a tracking number for the sleeve (shipped April 17th) but I don't know who the carrier are (it say Syncreon)

Ironic that you spend more money, and get a slower service. I do not mind waiting I understand that a volcano sort of messed things up but the lack of info is shocking really!

Shipped on 18th, on-time to be at my door on 26th (Mon). This is a merge in-transit, no UPS details etc yet though.

Background:
Ordered day 1 within 2 hours, was on the first flight from shanghai. Arrived at cologne, but was not sent on to the UK although others were.

There should be a flight tonight / early tomorrow morning from cologne to the UK and my MBP and others in the same situation would make it in time for delivery saturday morning, but the service apple put us on isn't eligible for Saturday delivery (it could happen, but technically it shouldn't).

I called UPS and they said that UPS has a contract with apple that says they must make one delivery attempt before you can collect it and they can't modify any shipping details (such as upgrades to a sat. Del. Service) until it is in the UK which will be early morning and their hotline will be closed so I won't be able to upgrade in time. I might give apple a call and see what they can do on their UPS side of things.

This is so frustrating.

Hmm. Good news?

Mine still says "In transit to final destination - carrier details to be updated shortly."

however now has a new line on the right: "Current Delivery Status In Transit to Customer - Shipment on Schedule 26 Apr 2010"

now that date is wen it was updated. Which of course is in the future. Does that mean it's the expected delivery date?

Please post any information you receive here, hopefully UPS will make some exceptions due to the delay in service - they've already broken the guarantee as it is...
