I got the impression they want rid of all the backlog ASAP.. The driver said to call the depot with the tracking number as soon as they arrived.

HOPEFULLY - they arrive tonight, would love to have it for the weekend!

I phoned both UPS and Apple asking if Saturday delivery could be arranged (my MBP arrived in Cologne yesterday but missed the Stansted flight), but didn't get any joy. The Apple guy mentioned that maybe something could be arranged if I was prepared to shell out more money (which I'm not). The UPS girl just said it couldn't be done; she mentioned the backlog but didn't seem interested in allowing me to help them out by taking some of it off their hands (I didn't offer to collect from the depot though..).

I can see how phoning the depot is more likely to get results - sadly I don't know the phone number...

Got as far as Cologne last night, but I take it the "adverse weather conditions" are code for we are currently up to our eyeballs.

I've read a lot of this post and can see that some managed to catch an onward flight to Stanstead, but was there a flight that made it out to East Midlands?

I'm thinking that would be my most likely route....but could be wrong of course....

Don't get your hopes up too much but...
My brother bought a MBP 6 months ago, and it got delivered on saturday by UPS, without extra cost and without asking . I'm in Belgium btw.

Mine is the same, placed order on the 14th, shipped on the 16th and Apple said it would be here today! I called yesterday even said what time the flights changed.... but no status change... still in transit

Hi guys,

Looks like i'll be joining this thread for thenext few days (or weeks!) too. I ordered my 15" BTO MBP on the 13th. It shipped on the 17th, but since then there was just one change: the delivery date got pushed back even further every day (from 23th to 26th, then to 27th..now 3rd of May)!

The worst thing is that I can't even track my damn order, because it'll merge in transit in NL and obviously it hasn't arrived there until now.
On the apple.com site it says that mine is shipped by Kuhne & Nagel. Does anyone know here how I could track their deliveries?
