Just called UPS Germany and had not have luck in negotiating a Saturday pickup. They are just refusing it and saying that all depots are closed. I can't or don't believe that though.

Please let me know if you have any success. I would call my depot (probably Frankfurt) directly but the number is not listed on the UPS site unfortunately. Only the central UPS hotline.
 
this thread is like a big fuzzy hug for anyone waiting for their macs to arrive.

though it is rather depressing knowing that my shiny new mbp will surely only arrive here on monday or later, meaning that I wont be at home to open the box till I return from my trip in a week. :( :(
But it's addictive none the less. Mine still says "INCHEON, KR 23/04/2010 11:12 DEPARTURE SCAN"
and we think it's on this plane that just landed?
 
I won't say ALL, but at least some of those MBPs that arrive in cologne today will be at their delivery depots tomorrow morning if UPS follow their schedule (only going off what i've learnt on this thread). This is not guaranteed!
 
I'm hoping that the delivery (wo)man tomorrow saturday will be ringing the doorbell to give me my new macbook pro HR antiglare, BUT... if I'm realistic:

- the plane will land today
- the goods will in the best case be scanned in today
- in the worst case on monday
- and then they still need to come to brussels.

I'm also thinking that opening a depot or 2,3 just for a few mac addicts is WAY too much hassle and costly, so I'm guessing probably tuesday at the earliest that the delivery will be made.

Still, it's nice to know you're not the only one waiting for your macbook !
 
My UPS status just changed to EXPORT SCAN.
What can I hope for now ? It catching the sunday flight ?

The estimated delivery date still is the 26th.

Anyone had an update since the Korea Departure Scan this morning?

INCHEON, KR, 23/04/2010 11:12, DEPARTURE SCAN

I assumed mine was on todays flight to Cologne but got confused when the flight didn't seem to stop in Poland (/worried), just hoping they'll get round to it at some point tonight for delivery Monday!

Me neither. The flight timings seemed to lined up with the flight I caught on radarvirtuel (UPS15 was it?), and that was heading to Cologne. I was expecting an import scan by now. Maybe it's just taking a while to unload or something. Or maybe they've skipped Cologne and headed straight to the UK ;)
 
I just came back home and here is my post from my i7 "15 MBP ;) It looks great though I'm not totally sure if I should have taken the HiRes display. Everything seems so small.

Anyway, good luck for everybody here. I unsubscribe from this thread :)
 
Yep I think my MBP was on that flight too, because I got that departure scan from Incheon at 11am local time. No sign of a scan at Cologne yet, I guess they are working their way through them.
 
As I cannot be bothered read several pointless pages of people talking about when they will receive their MacBook Pro, I'm simply going to ask.
Are there anyone from Denmark, Norway or Sweden, who has received their MacBook Pro ?
I'm going to order it on Monday :eek:

Mine should be on that plane as well, and I too haven't got an updated status on UPS...

I also think that monday will be the day of delivery!
 
My order finally just changed to "prepared for shipment".

Can anyone tell me how long a wait until it changes to "shipped"?

The scan will not appear for a long time, and based on last night's flight there will be a huge difference in timing between them, even for packages on the same flight.

So don't panic if you don't see yours for a while, and don't panic if someone else has theirs and you don't!

Ordered 14th
"Shipped" 18th
Finally an update to the order status saying its on its way, ETA 26th!

Can't wait! :D

Waiting for those all important tracking numbers though, as still saying "Merge in Transit GB"
