I think its packed and ready and still in shanghai ready for the sunday plane, you should get yours by thuesday maybe, but if the volcano decides to erupt again you could be in trouble!! wuuuuu ;)...
 
I'm sick of seeing Korea at the top of my list. I had hoped when that popped up this morning I'd have seen a change by now!

EDIT: Did a quick search on the incheon airport homepage, and theres a saturday plane to incheon, but no plane to cologne. Guess It will go on the sunday plane to cologne from incheon..

I have the same status :), dam I was hoping that the flight would be tonight. So they could send them to The Netherlands tomorrow and deliver it Monday :(. If the flight is Sunday I think Monday is to soon from Cologne.
 
yaay, it's in cologne. dunno why i'm so excited, since the damage is already done. I already had to backtrack on selling my current macbook, and now i'll have to go on a business trip with said older macbook while the shiny one will arrive the day after I leave home... The supreme irony is that if my UPS package arrives in Dublin tomorrow, I might actually pass it at the airport.

Grrr! oh well, nothing you can do. :cool:

I think Tuesday is a realistic guess. Though my scheduled delivery is still 26th.
oh well.. going to sleep now. Ill probably have the arrival scan at incheon in the morning.

ibizarocks - i thought u were officially worse than me at this OCD-like monitoring of this thread...

but alas, you can go to sleep while i wait for my import scan to appear.. sigh:(
 
Anyone staying up to check if their MBP is on the flight to East Midlands from Cologne? It should appear as departure scan at about 2:30-3:00am UK time.

I was going to but I've run out of things to do and there's still 2 hours to go. I might just have to succumb to tiredness and get up at 8 to race down to the depot.
 
I'm so jealous... I haven't got anything new apart from the old Departure Scan from Shanghai. And some ppl say it doesn't mean my MBP has left Shanghai, it means my MBP is just waiting there to be loaded onto the plane :(

However, I will be up until 3am (UK time) so will constantly check the tracking page to see if anything new....hopefully some good news before going to bed :(

Guys,

I'm feeling a little annoyed with Apple right now. I ordered on the 15th April and the US order status tells me 'Prepared for Shipment' (Since 19/04) while the UK status still reads 'Not yet shipped'.

Both sites state 'Ships: 4 business days' and 'Delivers: 29 Apr, 2010 - 30 Apr, 2010'.

My shipping method is 'Merge in Transit GB' (I ordered AppleCare with my Mac).

So far I've not received any email from Apple (whether advising of a delay, shipping, or anything). I called/emailed Apple every day since Wednesday. Today was the 3rd time I was told 'you'll get a shipment notification in the next 24 hours or so' but those 24 hours come and go and I get... nothing.

Communications is poor and getting poorer.

I didn't get the "natural disaster", but as I recall, the UPS website had a message saying that they are back to normal schedule after the air restriction was lifted.

btw, my guess is the package either is on hold to get on a plane, or is actually ina plain to Cologne and will head to final destination from there :)

So likely the delivery will take place on Monday or the worst Tuesday ( I woudn't mind a free Saturday delivery from UPS, but unlikely :()

The same in Britain. I wish it would magically arrive on Monday, but that's not going to happen.

well they could be using natural disaster for either volcano or the earth quake in shanghai!

mines in cologne now! argh and im stuck somewhere else in the world thanks to the volcano! seems like the laptop will arrive before me!

Cancelled mine

Yesterday I went to a local electronics store and guess what? They had 1 MBP 13" in stock, so I bought it! Then called Apple to cancel my order. UPS will send it back to Apple. Have been pretty impatient and since my MBP was still in Shanghai, I couldn't resist buying it from the store :)
